The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just bought REX4 Texture Direct today, to accompany Opus which is my weather engine of choice  This is a short (buy foggy) flight from EGGD > EGNT. The weather at EGNT on arrival was really low viz (we've had really heavy fog here all day), so a nice CAT III autoland was performed. Low viz arrival in to EGNT :-

Messing about with Rise of Flight today. Like most combat sims it doesn't seem to get much attention at Avsim which is a shame because it's a great flight sim... extremely challenging, educational and interesting. These pics are just a quick mission 1v1 with me flying an S.E.5a against an Albatros D.V The S.E.5a is flying with a skin depicting the aircraft flown by Lieutenant Verschoyle Philip Cronyn - a Canadian pilot in the Royal Flying Corps. Cronyn has always been of interest to me as going by his name, he is quite possibly a distant relative of mine! Cronyn was one of the pilots of 56 Squadron who took part in the epic battle with the German ace Werner Voss on …

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Am trying to create screenshots without use of vataware and simroutes which have been still down for past two weeks. I am always dependent on those two websites displaying waypoints to pinpoint and describe specific location of each of my screenshots such as streets, highways, rivers, roads, lakes, mountains, airports, landmarks, office buildings, stadiums, ports, etc etc and without those two websites, I cannot present my screenshot reports efficiently in most informative manner like any of you always see in my past thousand screenshot posts on screenshot subforum of any aviation forum. Presenting a nice flight over extreme north Arc…

Those familiar with Bavaria should recognize the red tiled town of Rothenburg ODT... It's as beautiful to walk in as it is to fly over.... Enjoy (from my upcoming Bavaria project) My ultralight trike is already in Avsim's library for those interested in a single place UL. I enjoy trike flying IRL, when I find the time and my FDE is about as close to a trike's handling as the sim allows. John

HRD is active with shadow quality medium, distance 30000 (I vary this from 20000 to 40000+ depending on flight level) Terrain shadows set to 30000 constant res = 3600x1920 (3 x DELLs in portrait mode, eyefinity R9-290) fps=26, AG both dense, ASN with clouds at DXT5:2048 from FEX (Flight Environment X better than REX4 IMHO) One of the sweetest features of P3D is the ability to change graphics settings in vivo without unwantingly rolling back other settings, and without fear of a CTD
