The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Wow, can't believe, 1) That Xplane is this cool, and 2) That I could cram all this stuff onto a $20 computer stand I got at Walmart. As to the first thing, all this stuff is Xplane, one desktop (running XPX) and a laptop (running X-HSI), and a second monitor (running X-HSI panels off main computer). Oh, and that's Cincinnati out the windscreen. Ive really grown to love Xplane... its smooth frame rates (on my old Dell XPS420 and Nvidia 650), and that wonderful piece of donationware, X-HSI (and yes, I did make a donation). There's just something about the depth of field that makes it feel more real. I miss photoreal scenery, but all that autogen makes it look and sense g…

This is going to be my second paint ever.... it's basically done.... but I might add some outlines between the colors. On the real plane it has the outlines and looks better but in FSX the lines are really jaggy so I'm not sure if they should stay or go.... Anyway, comments appreciated! This has taken a long long time and I'd like to thank Ron Attwood and Sean Moloney (from RealAir) - they've really helped me learn this stuff! One thing I learned while doing this was that I'm certainly no graphic artist - But I've seen so many amazing paints out there and I just HAD to try to be a creator rather than a user for once LOL! I've also added a callsign to the VC…

I'm not really sure of this though... The German Airports used in this pictorial plus the Airbus are from Aerosoft and the aircraft repaint is provided by Holgi. I hope you enjoyed this pictorial and as always commentary is greatly appreciated...Darryl

Just one shot from my flight tonight: GGN7585 CYYG-CYHZ This was cruising at 14,000, a little higher than normal for this short flight but it was necessary to get up above the clouds and the ASN turbulence, which was quite intense (we have a storm system making its way through the area right now IRL).
