The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I love looking at the beautiful images that folks on here post. I was hoping that those who post photos can note what scenery and texture software they are using in the photos. Your thoughts? Thanks Rob Marton

Well, we know the Clouds are here, but now so are the lights, and the race is on to light up the world of Outerra. New planes are almost done, point and spot lights are being tweaked (a user has reported 3000 lights on screen simultaneously, with only moderate framerate hit) and in short, Outerra seems to be moving to a new stage of development. Stay tuned!

New Version of the default X-Plane EDDF airport from the latest beta. This is just a reference for another thread so I don't have to waste everyone's bandwidth without a warning.

Finally downloaded the NL2000 scenery (with a faster internet) which is something old while the something new PiperSport/Czech Aircraft Works SportCruiser is my aircraft. Btw...still need some repaints with UK/European registrations of the CAW SportCruiser which is sorely missing. I hope you liked this pictorial, please comment if you wish...Darryl

There are a few great Airbus painters out there.....Det's one of them and I've been trying to catch up flying some of his beauties.... This one is extremely nice....and looks so nice on my new PC! Even though I paint myself, I don't have the energy (or time) to paint EVERY plane I want to fly. I'm just as grateful as the general public that there are so many great contributors to our hobby. It is a GREAT relief that I don't have to tackle painting the marvelous Aerosoft Airbus series, and I can concentrate on learning to fly the 'Bus as well as the Boeings. A great paint just adds so much to the joy of flying in slightsim. Yep, there are the "purist…

Today I purchased Prepar3D 2.5 and I am impressed to say the least. Screenshots were taken at 4K. Smooth as butter. Click on the first image. At 4K, you can even see the scratches on the aircraft skin. Crazy stuff!

  22. Yes I know Air Jamaica never flew the 777 but I think the livery looks good on it: Thanks for viewing..
