The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  2. After downloading the entirety of BlueSky photoscenery, it's time to start exploring! Based on the recommendation of another user, I started by flying from KCNY to KBCE. I loaded the Cherokee, this time equipped with all of the Knots2U speed mods, with a full load of 4 people and half a tank of 100LL. After takeoff, we track the Hanksville VOR to the southwest. There were some truly amazing sites to be seen here. The following is definitely one of my favorites: The speeds mods took some getting used to, as the power settings that I was used to could easily place the airspeed into the yellow band. Additionally, thanks to ASN, there wa…

I posted these a couple of weeks ago but didn't get a single view which is odd for the screen shot forum. There must have been something wrong and the thread didn't post. Anyway...I hope you enjoy. Early morning departure out of EHAM heading to LOWI... The sun is peaking through the cloud layers... Finally clearing up... Low overcast at KTPA today... A little cloud surfing with a cup of coffee...

This is Sunwing 454 from Halifax (CYHZ) to Punta Cana (MDPC). Real departure time today was about 0600 local, my departure is scheduled for 0630 for the benefit of screenshot lighting (and besides, every Sunwing flight I've been on has been late! :-) ) Finishing up baggage loading in Halifax. Ready for pushback! Pushback truck is disconnecting, shadows paint a picture on the cockpit Lined up for departure on 32 Positive climb, gear up! Goodbye YHZ for now Climbing out just north of Halifax as people sleepily drink their coffee below Fast forward to our descent in Punta Cana and our wx radar is s…

  13. FDX1017(KHSV-KORD) was hoping for an uneventful flight today. South of Indianapolis we were told by ATC there was a big fuel spill on the cargo ramp at O'Hare and we would have to divert. Luckily I had seasoned veteran First Officer Stephen J. Drabek with me (I don't think he's related to our very own AVSIM master repainter Steve Drabek) as we were instructed to land at Midway with our 142,000lb payload. So we adjusted the STAR to land on runway 31C which is just over 6500 feet in length inside the "walled fortress" I must say we had a whopper of a landing as evidenced in the second to last snap

  17. Here is a custom repaint for the A2A Cessna C182 Skylane. This repaint is based on a stunt plane called Starship that is owned by Gary Ward. This paint is a combined effort between my daughter and myself, with help from Taildraggin68 at the A2A forums.
