The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

THY1007(LTAR-LTBJ) rolls in front of wavering flags departing Sivas Airport on a 490NM run to Izmir and stormy skies ahead. About 60 miles outside of Izmir the plane encountered severe turbulence, so I checked the OPUS weather popup and sure enough I had moderate wind shear, cumulonimbus clouds and lightning(the lightning was obvious without the popup B) ). I really had to ride the speed brake hard pretty much all the way in. The amazing thing was neither the passengers nor the FO complained once about it

Inspired by HL James' stunning shots of the Cascade mountain range taking a big BA 380 into Vancouver, I'm prepping for a flight out of there to KLAX.... ...With a Horizon Q400 waiting at the gate as a long Bus taxis in the background. More shots to follow....I really like this Bus!

  17. Hello all, Just yesterday JC Air Charters, a new airline based in Athens, opened its doors. We operate to 55 destinations from our Athens hub, many being summer seasonal. I even created intricate schedules (I think I have too much time on my hands...). Either way, last night I took flight JCA98 from Athens to Paphos - here are three shots from the departure that I personally liked. If anyone happens to have any interest in the liveries, they can be found on the library - just search JC Air Charters. The 737-700NGX Winglet and 777-200LR were both painted on there. If anyone would like the schedules I created then feel free to let me know, I can upload them. …

Austria I am afraid the screenshots don't do justice, but here they are : I find it unbelievable what x-plane can achieve without photo scenery. And all this without blurries. It can ony get better. x-plane 10.35b2 with UHD mesh v1 from alpilot, and real terra haze with HD Clouds v2.

It's pretty sporty as long as you put all the speed mods in and really push the engine lol (thank goodness I'm not paying for maintenance!) Various flying, mostly in NorCal (OT: Does anyone know why HDMI cables yield a low contrast view at default settings vs DVI cable? - I recently switched to HDMI but when I plug it in the monitor and all games are so low contrast, P3D/FSX are really gray. I did change one thing in nvidia control panel - range of colors from 0-255, vs 16-235 - helps re-saturate things but then my screenshots are a lot darker after they come out in jpeg and I view them in Windows vs P3D)
