The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Playing around home today... not the best weather, but after a climb to VFR on top I could play around between layers for a while, then RTB KDLH for an ILS 27 full stop (with a sporty crosswind!).

I bought a couple of Chinese airport addons lately, and they're really spectacular. The most special is Lijiang International from Skysoft, which is the departure point for this flight. It's incredibly immersive and really gives the feel of being in China. Our destination is another Skysoft release; Haikou. It's a little older but still stunning. You can click each image to see them at full size. PS..... look at the skies on arrival at Haikou; the Chinese definitely need to do something about low level pollution! On the ground at Lijiang, in Yunnan state, North West China. This airport sits at 7,300 above sea leve. Look at th…

Hey guys, I am doing some test flights with my new paint scheme. For some reason I really like this simpler version of the paint job, without the extra stripes and tail art. For the shape of the Duke, this simplicity works well. Anyway, I added some of my humor and minor details, tho the version I upload will be 'clean' of my little bits, tho I'll email the 'bits' version to those who request it when it is finished. Added a little Giants logo to the nose gear door. The main gear doors are mirrored textures so added a nice Celtic symbol. Hey Chunk and any other Giants fans here, if you have TDukev2, I'll send you a Giants edition if you like. Don't Panic.…

  11. At 31,000 AGL, near Cleveland, Ohio on our way to the Caribbean... Honestly, I don't think any other sim has the full franchise for putting out incredible meteorological graphics. Here is FS9...and it is stupendous! Moving above the clouds, with absolutely no stutter or chunk...makes the view totally believable that you are there...and the flight is real. This is the stongest suit of FS9, as compared to all other civil flight sims. I am hooked.... REX clouds within FS9, are just plain Nirvana....and because you can crank the settings to bent full....well...the pics say it all... Having a blast...er...as always! Captain Ses ------------------…

  12. This scenery is converted from payware Fly Tampa Saint Marteen for FSX to XPX and is highly edited in Overlay Editor and WED using lots of freeware objects and freeware/payware plugins for XPX to add the missing animations. This scenery is not intended to be redistributed.

  14. These are from I flight I did last night from Brookhaven Airport (Long Island NY) up to NYC and down the VFR corridor. This is the same place where NY Yankee pitcher Corry Lidle flew his SR20 into a building when he and his instructor miss judged how much space they had to make 180degree turn. The VFR corridor is a beautify flight with lots to see. and a great way to see NY from the air. The airport I landed at (Essex County NJ, also known as Caldwell), is where JFK JR took off from on his fate full flight in 1999. Rob

#1 - #2 - #3 River support is not there yet, but you can do some cool stuff with some tricks and an awesome modding community A lot of Corby Starlet CJ-1 here. Model ported by Levi, with Craig Richardson's (from ClassicWings.net) permission. Scenery is Talkeetna, hand made by me. You can join us in the Outerra Avsim forum! Hopefully, the next one will show a true overcast

Then head North to ULROP while maintaing 3000ft, then East to KOSUN. Then follow a 3,5° descent : on a distance of 5.9nm, at about 140kts, it gives 860ft/mn.

For the more mature people amongst us: no, not Roy Orbison! ;-) I finally have her the way I want, and how I think she should be represented. Thanks to REX4 Texture Direct and a "at random" theme inject in the sim. I just love the way this sun is dominating the later afternoon winter sky! ps: this is FSX-SE in DX9, 5 minutes after a complete clean %appdata%\Microsoft\FSX and %localappdata%\Microsoft\FSX

Here is Eightyfivefive's beautiful N8055W paint combined with Taildraggin's beautiful wood panel for one heck of a combo with the A2A 182. Since the plane is orange & black and yours truly is a fan of the same colored bay area baseball team, I added some minor touches. You can find Eighty and Taildraggin's fine paints and interiors at the A2A forum. Cheers TJ

  22. While enjoying enjoying the fancy new simming gadgetry of the A2A 182 and RealAir Turbine Duke V2, I re-installed an oldie, the venerable Scout 2007. Here is the Citabria, she was well ahead of her time when you consider comparing to other releases at the time, and she still holds up very well to the current simming tech/programming advances. Tandem seat high wing are hard to beat for touring scenery. I really hope Rob and Sean consider giving the Scout package the V2 treatment. They don't need to do a Cessna, a Citabria V2 would be the kind of trainer right up RealAir's alley. Cheers TJ

Ahhhh.... just a nice day to be flying along, taking a couple of passengers to Pokemouche. About halfway there from Moncton. Sim: P3D V2 Aircraft: Beech V35 by Carenado Weather: ASN Virtual air: Canadian Xpress Other stuff: FSXEFB and QuickPlan by FSWidgets, VPilot, EZDOK (It's like asking someone the time and he tells you how to build a watch, eth?) I tell you, simming is such an enjoyable hobby. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7bs6ro4v6u2clf5/cda4%20pic.jpg?dl=0
