Hello all Bought this amazing plane right after its release. I took her for a ride over the Rhein from EDVR Rinteln (West of Hannover) to LFST Strasburg Entzheim. I use this opportunity to show off the wonderful LFST scenery from Jacques-Paul Bollard. This is The Lake District as depicted by the MegaSceneryEarth 2's England & Whales scenery package. Not so bad in my opinion, seems many in our community like to bag on PC Aviator in favor of Orbx. John and his team make stunning little airports (BTW where's Van Nuys, CA) and innovative scenery products but I prefer photo-real. Note: I was flying very low & slow, were talking 50-500 feet, still looks great for a photo-scenery. Sorry for the German registration since it's non existent for the UK version of this aircraft. REX Soft Clouds too!

The first pic, has me barely leaving the marina at one end of the fjord, and am now starting my real-time cruise to the end of the fjord, and the Misty Moorings scenery river-run that passes through fantastic ORBX fat-region scenery, and spec'ed with the equally fabulous Misty Mooring scenery and objects. I will be passing through mountain passes (on the river that connects each lake and fjord), wonderful vacation properties and Lodges....and all on the wonderful DeltaSim GTX Yacht v2.0. I just updated my nvidia drivers and turned on DSR at 3.0 + 33% smoothness and I am stunned at how sharp everything is and I gained frame rate, yes gained! The Clouds are incredible, I don't know if there is a side effect that may rear its ugly head later, but for now, pure bliss.

More Then Just Denver With a much higher bandwidth it takes around 1 hour to download a 30Gb scenery instead of a whole day plus. So to celabrate, we present a flight from Denver to the west end of Colorado on it's way to Los Angeles. Hoped you liked the pictorial, please comment...Darryl

I slept thru the Europe/Atlantic crossing(real time real weather). This was a computer test to see if I would get the dreaded OOM. I am a big fan of the 727-200. A fellow recently released a set of high-def textures for the CS727. For the price of 8.50 euros I though it might be worth a try. I know it takes a long time to create new HD textures from scratch. What I am posting here are screenshots of HD wing views that I added to the standard definition repaints that I have. He may have done too good a job as when I tried a full HD set of textures I got OOMs. I found my sweet spot. My immersion experience is a combination of VC and wing views....and still getting good performance. And as long as I view my externals models with a zoom of 0.8 or less I am not really losing much. Howdee all, Been enjoying some flights around the PNW this week as I continue to test/tweak P3D and Yakima, WA to Spokane,WA has been my playground. The weather was just right for some nice atmospheric dusk shots and the Majestic Q400 was once again called on for the photo shoot and this time we added the PMDG 737-600 in a fictional Ozark Airlines livery. Enjoy!

Totally Forgot how amazing and realistic Aerofly FS visuals are! I miss this scenery in FSX the most.

Evening folks, Been putting P3D though its paces and finally started adding in some payware aircraft. The Majestic Q400 and Aerosoft's latest v1.21 Airbus package (A318/A319/A320/A321) both work flawlessly so far but I haven't really gone too far down the test path just yet Here they are! Enjoy... **DISCLAIMER** This screen shot had a little post processing touch-up work done in PhotoShop CC. Added a lens flare to the landing light and some dodge/burn to the clouds and ground. The actual shot in P3D wasn't that far off!

I gave up in frustration the first day I had it installed due to poor frame rates and stutters and uninstalled everything.
