The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I decided to take advantage of the holiday today, combined with the wife and kid being out of the house, to make a flight I've been planning for a little while: From Furnace Creek, CA (Death Valley -- the lowest airport in North America) to Leadville, CO (the highest airport in North America). It's a perfectly manageable trip in a zippy little prop, especially one with enough power to handle the higher elevations. I decided this would be a great run for the RealAir Legacy. Here are a few shots from the trip... following a northerly take off from Furnace Creek I circled the airport to head back south. Furnace Creek is in the top right here. Then it was t…

Hi all Yesterday, all my trouble seemed so far away, having installed P3D 2.5, I decided to try aicarrier2 + Charles de Gaulle Carrier + RFN Gauge (for working carrier ILS and FLOLS, TACAN, catapulting etc) And I was very pleased to note that everything is perfectly working. Just a little quirk : when the carrier is moving, the lights of the Pedro helicopter remains fixed in the air and repeats every n seconds creating a kind of "offset ALS" So my first 2.5 carrier flight was a simple circuit. Positionned on the forward-right catapult, steam coming from the CATOBAR Green flag ! Full afterburner take-off Positive rate, gear u…

Not often you get to see the DreamLifter, so I thought I'd give her an escort out of PANC to the glacier.... Lined up on the 7's, ready for a dual departure.... Airborne! Check out her HUGE shadow on the ground! (and my tiny one, LOL) Just above her...checking out her unique shape! Shot from the cockpit, a LOT warmer in here, hehe. Approaching the glacier...ready to let her be on her own.... Over the glacier, peeling off...back to base.

  20. The factory is repainting D-AILK....they paint the rudder separately (for those of you who don't know), because it is a control surface, and has to be balanced properly (the weight of the paint, if put on too heavy in one area of the rudder, can adversely effect its performance). Anyway, as you can see...the guy who painted it (I'm not saying who  ), obviously painted it using the wrong template. I'm thinking he pulled the Emb 195 template out by mistake. Now maintenance has to take it off, send it back and have him do it again! Sigh..Silly painters...that's what they get when painting into the wee hours of the morning.
