The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Hi there! I just finished another XPX flight that went absolutely flawless! With Peter Hager´s Airbus in XPX, I have the perfect amount of work (planning and setting up the approach, calculating the top of descend, etc.), a superb FBW that makes it really enjoyable to take manual control very early during the approach, and XPX (with SMP, MaxxFX and tweaked art controls) delivers the icing on the cake: the breathtakingly beautiful graphics! Worth noting in these screenies: -Please look at those true 3D clouds that cast shadows just like the real ones would (can be seen very good on the top down shot) -Note, that Peter´s FMGC might be based on the default XPX stuff …

Hi there! I am a huge fan of Peter´s Airbusses for XPX, and I just bought his newest release, the A320neo with PW engines. Here you can see my first visual impressions of this stunning aircraft (taken from a short hop from EDDK to EDDT):

This is what MSE sold in 2010. Seeing this quality sold me on MSE 2, which IMO was a big disappointment, at least for Utah which I bought. It was sorely lacking this level of quality. BTW these copies are not as impressive as the orginals; clicking on them will show a larger view. Thanks for viewing.

What a unique livery! How and why did Iceland Air do this? It's a great story! I'm ready to dust off my old pixel brushes to repaint, BUT, which 757-200 model? Viel Spaß!

Some pictures of the clouds from recent release 0.8.4.5197 and onwards. Outerra is slowly showing how special its eventually going to become! Current cloud default rendering range is 100 miles and is intended to eventually be global, if feasible. I'm fascinated to see if they can pull it off and have clouds and city lights seamlessly visible from orbit to the ground! http://forum.avsim.net/topic/460372-outerra-developement-news/ http://forum.outerra.com/index.php?topic=3151.0

Thank YOU! Thank YOU! I have a max of 12 GB system memory, but with not using the Alps...can maintain around 14-29 FPS (it ranges) and using a GTX 680 2GB...looks beautiful. Wow..... Again, thank you for this.... Post Edit: Just took off from Grand Canyon State Park....just heading out over the precipice and OMG! Wow....wow... Post Edit 2: When I took off out of the above-mentioned airport (with XPX fully pegged out...), I was at 30 FPS, and when I flew over the canyon wall...dropped to around 19-20 FPS...but perfectly acceptable...considering what is below me...man...this is what you call VIRTUAL REALITY in any sim.....the Grand Canyon with spectral lig…

It's amazing how much perception of depth the UHD Mesh adds to X-Planes scenery. Especially Grand Canyon is a blast. But the European Alps are not too shabby either. I wish this could be the default scenery everywhere ... and I wish X-Plane wouldn't keep crashing in the alps ... but well ... its worth the fun.

Some screenies from my recent flight, this time between Copenhagen(as usual) and Innsbruck in the austrian alps. Premiere in this flight is the photoreal scenery of the western part of Austria which was finished yesterday after a couple of days work . I have Flugwerk Design Austria HD East and with my scenery of Austria west the country is now 100% photoreal
