The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.
  1. Hi guys! So, it's time to go to Africa! I took the Thomas Ruth A300F for an Egyptair Cargo flight from Istanbul to Cairo Intl. Unfortunately my Cairo Int'l is not very good, but it does the job I think Hope you like them! Loading last things before pushback Taxiing to Runway 6 Let's go old lady! Climbing to 360 And we're descending into Cairo's 5C. Some nice landmarks down there  Sweet! Taxiing to stand. A shame that Tristar Air A300 crashed about a month ago :( And that's it! Thanks for watching! Have a nice weekend

CPA700(PGSN-VMMC) on an island run from Saipan to Macau. It was my first time landing on runway 16 at VMMC. Although not as challenging as the Kai Tak approach, it was nice to have something a bit different (hope you liked the shots Mike)

A typical new livery test flight that the Cirrus pilots perform here in Duluth, before an aircraft is delivered. This one is headed to Brazil! (P3D v3 / Beautiful paint by Antony Oakland - here in the library if you want) Departing Ry 27 on this blustery chilly day in DLH (I'm not at work today but this wx is basically identical to what I see out the window!) A few patches of sunlight airborne Runway behind us! Land of Ten Thousand Lakes (and trees) Aerodynamic Look at that livery! Perspective Air-to-Air (Lake Superior in the view - brrrrrrrrrrr) Greaser Parked back at Cirrus Midfield Ramp

Just need the beta tester (Pinlifter) to sign off on it and I'll upload her to the library. Unfortunately with the PMDG operations Center packager still broken, I may have to upload it as a zip and you'll have to manually install it. Hope they fix it soon.

Finally I found some time again to fly in Alaska (continuation of this flight). As my quite reliable Caravan had some technical issues, but I need to fly to earn money , I decided to take the Beaver. Let's see how steep the old bird can climb ... Above of the plane, the airfield of Yakataga. Flying 303 degrees - direction Gulkana (PAGK). Some boulder comes into sight ... ... and here we are ... You didn't expect ice and glaciers in Alaska, did you? Nice weather to fly. A look to the left and down A cockpit which exudes "blood, sweat and tears" ... not for the Magenta lovers …

With the DC-6 from Faeroer via Iceland to Montreal/Canada. No passengers, but a lot of fuel... Preparing the plane at Vágar Airport, Faeroer The weather is just very antlantic Surprisingly, at the southern coast of Iceland the weather suddenly got better, leaving the clouds southward behind Landing at Keflavik Two days later, at sunrise (that is around 10 a. m.): Greenland was crossed, still CAVOK conditions Hours later... arriving over the St. Lawrence stream under "unsure" conditions And it gets worse, note the cross wind at 02R final I only want to sleep! Best regards, Ha…

Although the weather in Northern Germany is presently beautiful, I had the urge to fly in some warmer climates. Why not Polynesia, I thought. So I had a look around in my ever growing virtual hangar and detected way back in a corner an old favorite of mine that I hadn’t flown in a long time: the Piper Cheyenne. And as she came with a fitting paint, I thought the choice is easy. We take off from Bora Bora Mute, pass by Uturoa, before we land at Fare. Fasten your seatbelt, put your seat in an upright position and enjoy the flight, I certainly will Bora take-off Let’s scare some sailors We have left Bora and head SSE for Uturoa …

Actually the day began quite nicely. We had loaned a Catalina from friends in Australia, which we planned to use on our freight runs in PNG. We had also negotiated with some local fishermen our daily quota of fresh fish. We even were lucky to be able to watch a few dolphins playing around our ship In short, the day was just purrfect Eventually though, we knew there was labor to perform and we decided we better do something about it. We couldn’t take off from the channel, where we had anchored, so we had to head out into the open sea And while still in the climb, there was out of a sudden a loud bang from the left engine What on ear…
