The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Some of you might remember the wonderful 1975 Robert Redford movie “The Great Waldo Pepper” that plays in the late 1920s. Bi-planes like the Standard J (which was similar, but less liked than the Curtiss Jenny due to its unreliable engine) have a very big role in that movie, so anyone, who hasn’t seen it and has an interest in those barn-storming days I would recommend to get the DVD. It’s worth it, despite its age (or maybe due to its age). In the last part he flies against German air ace Ernst Kessler, who is modeled after the real German ace Ernst Udet. Kessler flies a Fokker DR 1 and Pepper (Redford) a Sopwith Camel. This dogfight alone is worth to watch the movie! Ke…

It's amazing how Prepar3D v3 looks good in vanilla state! Even ground textures look pretty good and convincing. I've just added SweetFX to correct hue a bit, nothing else. FPS was ~70 while taking the screens, almost max settings. V3 is defo bonanza! Enjoy the view! Thanks for stopping by!

My Biz in Italy and in the US...all made in Brazil. Scenery from MSE, aircraft from Carenado and repaints provided by Ray Marshall. Why did I pick this Carenado Biz jet, the Embraer Phenom 100 was too small/stubby, the Hawker H850XP has a great exterior but a bland control panel (looks thrown together) but the Embraer Phenom 300 is just right! Finished this up yesterday. The USAF once considered the Boeing 777 as a potential replacement to their aging Aerial Refueling platforms and to the C-17 for non-combat roles. That prospect has since lapsed, but a future use of the 777F for the United States Air Force is still a possibility, and this is a rendition of that possibility. Special thanks to Steve Drabek for testing. What's included: Slime lights. Aerial refueling platform. Custom Bump and Spec Maps. Retextured Crew in Flight Suits Cargo Containers with DODAIC and NSN's. Exterior livery featuring the 446th Airlift Wing out of Lewis–McChord. [link removed]

Don't ask me how but through some clever registry "hacks" and symlinks I've managed to get all of the above installed and working together in P3Dv3 =) I'd strongly advise you wait until the developers release official versions but I need to perform some VAS testing this weekend and got "creative" in order to get my sim loaded up with my usual add-ons. What is fantastic is the fact that I don't see the usual popcorn clouds that I had in 2.5 nor any texture blurries. I slewed around in this view and ground textures did get slightly blurry but very quickly popped back into hi-res versions of themselves. In 2.5 this would take minutes and sometimes would never recover.…
