The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

This route offers some fantastic opportunities to fly a mixture of narrow- and wide-bodied aircraft on a relatively short hop. Definitely one of my favourites but can be quite taxing in terms of VAS. Some various snaps I took on various Aerosoft Airbus A320 and PMDG 777 flights between Doha (OTHH) and Dubai (OMDB). Addons used: Taxi2Gate OTHH FlyTampa Dubai Rebooted GSX ActiveSky Next REX 4 TD + Soft Clouds FS2Crew PMDG 777-200LR Aerosoft Airbus A320

I'm not sure what I was thinking but in the Prepar3d.cfg file I put TEXTURE_MULT_BANDWITH at 1024. Now I'm rocking 7680x4320 on my 4K Samsung 3D Curved TV. It is absolutely unreal. So smooth. Not a single CTD. Maybe I just stumbled upon something. The textures are much more prominent 100 miles away.

After a three year restoration our old Beech Staggerwing is finally ready to spread her wings for the first time. We will test her on a short 200km hop from Kelowna east to Revelstoke in beautiful BC We are #3 in line It doesn’t get much better than this Ok, let me rephrase that. HOLY SH….T. Where did THIS come from? Maybe it looks better at a lower level, otherwise this first flight will turn out to be the last one That’s what I had prayed for On our last leg into Revelstoke We don’t do a straight in, it would have been too dangerous with the surrounding hills and these trees Short final to rwy 11. …

Good evening fellow pilots These are shots from my last Turbine Duke flight above the US, from Glenns Fall (KGFL, freeware masterpiece from Ed Cox) to Greenbrier Valley (KLWB, one of the global airports from Orbx) The flightplan, displayed by SimlauncherX : 5 States if I am not mistaken : New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia. Here is my personnal navlog (a Google Spreadsheet which purpose was fuel planning, but went a bit more sophisticated) And the pics from the flight, unedited (post processing done in game via Reshade) In the end, I always compare my real fuel consumption with what was planned. Hi All! Third installment of the variable-frequency Dassault Mercure development newsletter! WE are at update #3 so far! I have been working on textures, and have the fuselage ready. That is, only the fuselage, parts such as antennas, gears and details still to do. Not to mention wings and tail surfaces. The fuselage is, divided into 4 lengthwise sections. Each section contains a L/R and a Top/Bottom texture. Totals 8x 1024 px textures for the fuselage alone. THis arrangement is a bit hard to re-paint but thanks to Photoshop and their arrangement I work on all of them in unison, as they align forming the complete fuselage sides and top/bottom areas. Photoshop takes ca…
