The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  6. Like I stated earlier, there is no 'less than, or trailing' flight sim that is represented upon AVSIM. I fly between all of 'em... Here's a morning shot taken with FSX Boxed, Steve's DX10 , UTX Canada v2.0 (set to Nick N's prefs, like rivers that actually have beds, etc) Just took off from North Bay, and am heading into a VFR flight following the highway southbound, towards an eventual Toronto landing at the waterfront. -------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BTW...while I still have ORBX Vec…

BVS and 0S9 have been released for P3D2 (not 3 yet I guess). This was great for me because I love both 0S9 and BVS in FSX. So here's some dreary overcast shots in the Carenado MixMaster (sporting a Mr. Attwood paint!) (note the GTN mod) See ya next time!

  13. Yes..we have favorites...yes...we have devoted followers of one or another...yes...we have zealots...but honestly...there is no one 'better' flight simulator than any other...use the one for the flight that suits your goals and objectives. That's all that should guide us... I'm in an FS9 flight from Amsterdam, to St. Kitts, with a favorite 737 that doesn't actually fly out of Amsterdam...and I will have to 'cheat fuel' towards the end of the flight to land at St. Kitts (12 hour flight, ya know)...and I don't care... Everyone...have fun no matter which flight simulator platform, you choose...and which ever way you wish to run it! Salute! ---------------------…

Trying a short Zurich-Cologne hop, perhaps in preparation for more. Btw, it's the wonderful freeware model by Tom Gibson et. al. It was slow, but funny. Will I make it to Alaska, where the DC-6's last "wild-living" relatives…
