The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Just a few to show off some of the water reflections in HDR mode...took off, and then headed south just off the coast. I really like the way XPX handles light reflections...even if you can see...the red lights of the communication towers, that glow off of the water as they pulse...love the immersion of this sim! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We start in Islamabad and will cross the Himalaya in a north-easterly direction, until we land after having flown some 400 miles in Hotan, China As you see, this is low resolution photo scenery (from simsavy), so it works best from FL200 up Above the beautiful Karakoram National Park in Pakistan We pass the K2, some 8,600 m high, and move into Chinese territory Long final into Hotan. I don’t think they are overly concerned here with noise abatement regulations J

I'm not sure if it's usual to have modders posting their WIP on the AVSIM screenshot forums, but I wanted to share some pictures of what I was working on these past few weeks. KW71 and Uriah, two Outerra modders, started an ambitious project: completely remake the default AH-64. This model was available in Outerra to present helicopters capabilities of JBSIM, however the model was really simple, with no cockpits and sounds. This total conversion will improve every parts of the AH-64, from model to sounds, including a new FDM and aim to demonstrate some advanced use of scripting for Outerra vehicles. Despite having both time consuming real jobs, Uriah and KW71 are workin…

Here's a few pictures of a recent flight I did from Benbecula to Inverness in Scotland. The scenery is spectacular here, and has many contrasting areas (mountains, rugged islands, farm land) The flight starts shortly after sunrise on the outer Hebridean island of Benbecula, before crossing over the Isle of Skye and onto the mainland, passing over the western highlands and into Inverness. Software used: X-Plane 10.41, Dreamfoils Bell 407, GB Pro (World2XPlane), Ortho4XP generated imagery.
