The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  5. The screen shots in this topic are 1280 res. Click on any for a larger view. The real world image further below of the Wasatch swell is also larger and worthy of viewing. Yes TTOCS, don’t we wish we lived sometimes in FSX scenery? Heavy snow present on landing late yesterday is nowhere to be found this morning as I prepare to take off for Santa Clara/San Jose for Super Bowl 50. Weather had cleared, though still very cold in Denver, but got my chance to buzz downtown Denver and Mile High Stadium/Invesco Field, home of the Broncos, on the way out of town. Found a double-stadium issue in sceneries on which I will start a separate topic in the Scenerie…

Route Map with Weather. Note the strong low pressure area with the sharply bowed cold front. And winds aloft as high as 130 knots On Runway 18L at Memphis waiting for takeoff clearance. Climbing out of Memphis and crossing the mighty and muddy Mississippi River. At cruise flight level over northern Arkansas, Bull Shoals Lake below. Crossing the Arkansas – Oklahoma border with the sun at midday. The difference in the two states is evident here with MSE2 scenery developed on different dates. Wish they would spend time evening out these differences first instead of introducing a new level of scenery. Chose not to show it in this topic, b…

Don't know if your aware but ReShade 1.0 is out with loads of different effects. To avoid confusion only 1 Framework version is available for download. The best effect by far, is the motion blur effect, but there are tons off effects,I mean loads, and a GUI interface to change the plethora of shaders that come with this release.. I was messing around and took this shot, emulating a dry summer foggy day at Karachi. To be honest a screenshot does not do this version new version justice.. Download @ http://reshade.me/

Started the trip to Santa Clara, California, today. First segment to Memphis (KMEM) for an overnight stay, then tomorrow on to Denver (KDEN) where this bird will definitely get some attention. Final segment is from Denver to San Jose (KSJC). The first three screen shots are from yesterday's re-familiarization flight. Its been about 18 months since I last logged hours in the HondaJet, and that was before the integration of the GTN 750 into the panel. All of these screen shots are 1280 wide, so click on any you like and you will see a larger image. So, the project is still alive, yes! I have been deeply entrenched in Photoshop doing backgrounds for cockpit panels, so this is what I show you today: 2D cockpit. So far the only working gauge is a partially completed ADI. It is a fairly advanced unit comprising a full turn coordinator... Side console, captain side. HDG gyro controls, HUD panel, oxygen mask... 3D details still missing. The area behind still needs modeling, but it is just a storage area... Virtual Cockpit. No working gauges yet.... textures still not done aside the panel itself... The pedestal panel. Throttles, radio, AP... Still lots to do here.... Overhead pa…

I was flying from Coventry, UK to Dublin in my C208 nearing the Wales Coast when I see this. It freaked me out. You will have to zoom in to see it better as I could not find paint on Win 10 to resize and highlight it. 24. Several screenshots from my latest video FSX Realistic Sunset Approach and Landing The footage is recorded untreated, raw from FSX, with only the custom sun lens flare and additional glow to the runway lights added as a post-processing effect in Adobe After Effects. All colour-corrections and image enhancements are applied with ReShade, a post-processing tool just like ENB, only better, and recorded direct from FSX with FS Recorder.
