The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Decided to resurrect the Aerosoft F-16 to see what it could do in P3D, still looks good and performs well. Not sure if the 4K translates over in screens, looks pretty sharp to me however.

I took the lazy way out tonight, flew on Pilot Edge with the turbocharged Lancair Legacy from SNA to CRQ. If you're familiar with SoCal it's far far easier to file an IFR flight plan in such crazy airspace. So that's what I did tonight. I wasn't planning on taking any screenshots but after departure I glanced up and saw an amazing sight off my wing, the setting sun with the Pacific Ocean rippling in the distance. Needless to say it motivated me to take a few shots along the way to Palomar. Routing (used skyvector for a quick plot and brief, weather allowed for a visual approach into CRQ) Setting sun right after calling up socal departure Being vectored…

Another screens that will convince myslef that this is IT! Perfect (well, almost) visuals in P3D v3. Lighting is just fantastic, and with proper sky textures and sweetfx preset, everything just comes to life. Ok ok, FTX Global and Soft Clouds are the culprit also. Thanks chaps for looking!

  22. VERY clear and well defined water textures in FSX boxed/DX10 Steve's Fixer Just landed, and switched to my Power Ball yacht! Getting great FPS with all this wake and spray happening, over 23 FPS! This is the best FPS ratings I have ever had with spray effects of this magnitude. Before this suite, I'd only get about 7-10 FPS. Spray/wake is a FPS-killer, but no longer.... Run..don't walk to get this driver suite!
