The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

  4. Testing my "new" default FSX Boeing 737-800. With upgraded panel, textures, sounds and a new (actually very old) repaint. I downloaded all but the paint job today. This is actually about the fourth flight I have done today/tonight; the most for a long time. Cheers,

A few screenshots of TOGA ENVTEX, a texture enhancement addon for FS9, FSX & P3D. All screenshots were made in FSX (DX10 with Steve's fixer - AS16 SP1 Beta & ASCA using ENVTEX textures)

I also took the plunge and bought xEnviro. All I can say is that it is absolutely amazing. I only did one quick flight from LOWW to EDDN, but I have rarely had such an immersive flight. Just great.

  8. I know Lionheart Creations don't support it, a bit of an unfinished project, but I found their BWB 797 and it works in FSX:SE (had to alter the alpha channel so the fuse didn't go semi transparent at dusk and dawn . I find this concept plane strangely graceful to look at, and I love the Union Jack livery! The font for British Airways will have to go though! The 2d panel's a bit of a mess - the EFIS only shows two engines and the fuel gauges don't work, but the VC is wonderfully sci-fi (wish it was finished ) I don't think Boeing would ever spec a gaming keyboard, but you never know! The plane is lovely to watch externally though. Here …

Here's my 1st iFly 747 released paint. Enjoy her guys! (and gals) Lufthansa should be next. I just uploaded her to Avsim, she should be in the next upload cycle. I'm having issues uploading her to the Flight1 site, but when I get that sorted I'll upload there as well.

It's amazing to pull up to a lighted area of the ramp and have my aircraft (and cockpit get illuminated)... and on the backside is mostly dark. If you pull away from a lighted area you'll be in darkness again. Love this feature in XP. At Palm Springs by GPB500 (found in Org forums)

I can't imagine myself not wanting to paint Lufthansa on the 747, so here she is on the iFly version. As soon as PMDG releases their 747, it will get these textures as well. Still a lot of work to do, but she's presentable enough for the Pavarotti to get a few shots of her before I push her back into the paint hangar. And she took a quick lap around EDDF before I put her back in the hangar. Let me what you guys think.

Hey everyone! I've been meaning to share some pictures of my latest flight from Dubai to Chicago. I'm a huge commercial aviation nut and long haul to ultra long haul flights are my forte. I'm in love with the 77W and find it to be one of the best looking aircraft out there. I feel like the Emirates livery looks great on it in particular. As always, the flight was flown in real time following the actual schedule and took just over 15 hours. Sadly, she is just a bunch of recycled aluminium now, as the last pics I saw of her were up on blocks, stripped of all her resealable parts, ready for her fate. But at least she lives on in flightsim! I always like seeing this one around KLAX, very colorful and goes to one of the most exotic places on earth.
