The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I think I made last night a pretty noticable breakthrough for the final version on Ultimate Realism Pack v1.0. Tried and tested new ReShade v3 and was quite amazed how good it works so I decided to create a preset from the scratch. The screens below are the result of my PTA preset + my ReShade v3 preset, and to be honest never seen such realistic visuals in P3D. Yes yes, I know everyone has a different opinion what realistic is, but since I'm using real photos/videos as a reference, I think this is very close to photorealism, at least in P3D. PTA + ReShade v3 + REX4 cloud set 02 + my day sky + FTX Global + OpenLC EU + Carenado C337 …

  3. I grabbed the New York scenery and the NY airports of a sale and they seem to work ok in Xplane11, barring a few floating buildings. Maxed it out (except water) and here we go!

I thought there should at least be one in the Russian Taiga. So I took off from Anchorage towards west. In Anadyr the weather was bad as usual But it came worse. No flying possible. Finally better So up to Tiksi! But soon I realized that Tiksi is to far north. Rarely trees here around. And so dark. That was around noon: When flying over the empty Eurasian Tundra or Taiga, there were unique impressions though (Lena river delta) And finally the sun! Approach to Salekhard So here I'll find a fine Christmas tree! (FS9.X, SCS Tu-134 v2.0) I hope you had fun! Harald
