The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Most of the time I don't like the haze, but it seems to be fitting here in sunny socal Just a quick check of the new DDENN CL30 beta patch for XP11. (sorry for jaggy shadows there appears to be a bug with enabling scenery shadows that affects aircraft horribly) http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/110847-challenger-300-xp11-compatibility-patch-10/ There's a fps drop fix too - check the entire thread. If you're new to XP10 or 11 this is by far the best bizjet avail so far. It's got great systems modelling, avioinics are pretty good, but the new stock XP11 FMS should help (it's still in beta itself so there's some kinks to work out), and DDENN said …

I took the plunge today, and bought xEnviro. The roadmap has the missing cloud shadows on top priority, and with all the videos and pics I´ve seen so far, I just had to give it a try! And on my first full flight with it, I had several "wow" moments! Sure, it has its problems, like the sharp edges around the mountains and hills (sometimes even flickering), some halo effects at dusk and dawn, moving clouds if you fly near them, but nothing is really a show stopper in my opinion. I haven´t tweaked anything with the dataref editor, and they really nailed the sky colors, the atmospheric scattering, the haze and the cloud colors (on this early December afternoon). Visib…

Here is my latest iFly 747 paint in P3d working a CRAF flight from KMEM to Bahrain, taking some troops over there. Goggle CRAF fleet if you've never heard the term. C-5s on the ramp next to me, loading up all the gear the troops will need (Thought I saw one stuffing a Blackhawk down its gullet.) I'll be handling all their duffel bags and other personal luggage. Here's the last time our troops will have their feet on american soil until their deployment ends. The stair trucks kindly provided by FedEx. The few trips I took to Bahrain when I was in the Navy were unfortunately on C5's, not a comfortable 747. If you've ever flown on a C5.…

We are back in Cambridge Bay, but now we have March, which means much longer hours of day light. Our destination Ulukhaktok Holman airport further west at the Pacific coast is some 280 nm away, if we would fly direct. But first we have to deliver some urgently needed supplies to Kugluktuk, before we can set course for our final destination. Let’s check out the plane Hmmmh….and what is this? Are these your manuals? But the photo of the Ju-52 I like though And what is this idiot doing there so close to my plane???? Doesn’t he see or hear, that the engines are running? Let’s get the hell outa here Yezzzzzz, finally!! Now I can start to relax …

  21. Folks...this, that you are about to feast your eyes upon...is FREEWARE. Yep...your mind and visual cortex will reject that word...but to the most talented and generous release from a fellow XP community member, may I present an---- at taxi smorgasbord to feast the eyes upon. Everywhere you go within the scenery, has cars moving, support vehicles moving, flags waving in the breeze, cargo lifters moving towards the planes, helicopters taking off and landing....blimps passing the airport overhead, on and on....and this BLOWS anything, honestly away, that I have purchased from ORBX. Scope...animation....sheer texture and placement elements. You need an HOUR to taxi around …

or sailing the Northwest Passage We will take off from Gjoa Haven and fly west until we reach Cambridge Bay. Actually to fly the entire Northwest Passage, we should have started further north, but as we had a PBY waiting for us in Gjoa Haven we departed from there. This will be interesting, as we do this flight in early December, which means we have during the entire flight very little daylight. When you look at the map, you can see the route that we roughly plan to follow. The second leg will be later in the year in a Herc from Cambridge Bay via Kugluktuk to Ulukhaktok. Up there we have reached the Pacific Ocean. Let the adventure begin. It’s 8 am on Dec. 2…
