The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum

Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here.  Please follow image posting rules (below).  Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).

Screenshot Image Posting Rules

  • Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own.  See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
  • Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
  • Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
  • No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
  • AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
  • Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

I haven’t been here for some time. And as I finally managed to get the FS9 Let 410 to work in P3D 3.4 with an appropriate PNG texture, I did a flight from Kokoda to Yongai. Great fun!! Luckily the weather went as quickly as it came. Yongai comes into sight I haven’t landed here for ages, so let’s better check out the place first Welcome to PNG paradise

Some impressions from a journey Iceland - Alaska in four legs. I hope that I will see the Aurora even better at my next flights round the polar circle. At least there was always still a little daylight. Taxiing at Keflavik I never expected to see a DC-6 at Kangerlussuaq Airport/Greenland And there it is: Aurora Borealis Due to strong headwinds a had to refuel in the middle of nowhere: Gjöa Haven (scenery by Roger Wensley, who filled a lot of gaps scenery-wise in this part of the world) Nice terminal In the air again Fairbanks What's behind the fence?... ...a train simulator... ... and again…

Hi Folks, Haven't done this in a while... A hard IFR flight into the heart of the Adirondacks on Sunday evening... A revenue flight from Frederick MD into Saranac Lake NY... Weather was forecast as pretty poor and it didn't disappoint - so you definitely need a plane up to the task - can't ask for much better than a Lear even if it is 1970's technology... 15. This is what happens when your (actually my) ham fingers accidentally manage to pull the left fire bottle 20 miles from landing at KEGE Eagle Co. Regional CO. What was worser (sic) was that I had never actually gotten around to practicing an engine out landing. To pat myself on the back, I didn't do too bad a job either. Hi there! Today I bought Peters Aircraft new VFW614 (Vereinigte Flugtechnische Werke). This bird is (was) as rare as it is fun to fly it. ;-) Old school navigation, and extremely nice hand flying characteristics, I just can´t stop flying this thing!

  19. The weather was good today, so time to try and take the little Dynamic up to Courchevel. Taxying out. Wonder if anyone else is going to visit LFLJ? Here we go! Bye bye Chambery. Just turn left into the valley. What a grand day for VFR in the French Alps! ...and a right turn into the next but one valley.. ..sorry about the light bloom - it does that with the sunlight to the rear of the plane, I don't think the dome light was on. Onward to Courchevel! Meribel on the nose, just follow the valley as it curves left, making sure I'm above 6500 feet at least! Looking good... ish. Is that really a ru…

  23. Having flown a 757 in an unorthodox approach to LFLB, it was time to get the little WT-9 Dynamic over to Chambery with a view to taking it up to Courchevel, weather depending. I'd already flown the Dynamic from the UK to France. I believe she's actually got the range to go from Blackpool to Chambery in one go....just! - it's only about 600nm! However, I didn't want to set up a 6 hour or so flight! So I stopped off at Bembridge on the Isle of Wight before continuing on to Briare Chatillon (LFEI) just to break the journey up. At Briare pre-flight. Weather should be quite good today. I'm sure the blue taildragger was at Bembridge before I set off! Cruisi…
