The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Today I'm flying this amazing little freeware gem from Thomas, over at flightport.de (or you can find the plane at Sim outhouse). It's a C206 stationair on amphib floats with a turbine engine. I've actually seen this plane in action (without floats) when it visited Duluth a few years back. Pretty interesting thing. Anyway the sim version comes with multiple options (floats/no floats/tundra/skydive etc) and supports some popular third party avionics. I have a GTN750 in mine. Everyone should check it out because it's the perfect little plane for Orbx backcountry areas.

I have to admit that the more I fly in Alaska, the more addictive this gets Wien Alaska Air never flew Ju 52s, they used Ford Trimotors among other planes in the 1930s in Alaska. But as I have flown Fords fairly often these last days, I slapped the original NC-9418 Wien Trimotor registration on a Ju 52. Now Wien flies Junkers too. Todays trip will bring us from Anchorage to Gulkana (PAGK), which lies some 190 m NE of Anchorage. Our cargo is a load of deer Reindeer to be more precise J The old lady takes slowly and gracefully to the skies. The weather forecast didn’t look too bad, but at this time of year you never know in Alaska It doesn…

Just a single shot here. ORBX FTX NZ South Island, REX Essentials, Carenado C206. It was getting fairly bumpy! The norwest is predominant in summer in these parts, and it spills over the mountains creating a warm Fohn wind, along with turbulence.

Starting this season's Tu-134 travel! From Germany to Iceland. With a stopover in Scotland, as fuel was expected to be not sufficient for a non-stop flight in case of strong headwinds. And what shall I say, I exerienced headwinds of more than 130 kts... River Rhine That went to be a nice crosswind landing. But what the h... does this tiny plane there? Had to go around. Obviously Prestwick is not the first address to AI lovers. (I even remember thinking hardly about if I should include this very airline in my AI traffic at all.) But now up to Iceland! Overflying Faroer Islands First sight to Iceland. Very impressiv…
