Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

Here are some shots of Ventura Sky 2.0 for X-Plane 11. SkyMaxx Pro 4, RWC 1.1, Maxx FX. Get Beta 2 for free at venturasky.com KLAX here at 18nm visibility. For reference, here's the same shot in vanilla XP11: Another one at KEWR with some low hanging SMP4 puffs. The improvements over SMP3 are subtle but definitly there. Here are some Manhattan dusk shots at lower visibilities (12nm, 8nm)

In August 2016 we were told that a release of this scenery was imminent, then we heard that there will be a delay of a few days. Since then no further communication. If one sent the developer a question about the release date, one did not get any answer, nothing. Now, in early December 2016, it finally became available. From a marketing point of view, a complete, utter nightmare!! If it will not sell well, the developer can only blame one person: himself. And at €52 it is also quite pricy. On top, it comes with just one season. Three very valid reasons NOT to buy it. Why did I buy it? Because of this:

Painting this livery by request of an FS9 simmer who's been converting my FSX textures to FS9 for that community to enjoy. Pulling out of KSFO's United maint facility.... On departure....Flightbeam's excellent KSFO scenery in the background. The iconic Golden Gate in the background, along with Alcatraz. Again, but this time with the tail in the shot to preview the detail. jpeg compression really beat these screenshots up...she looks much nicer in the sim. Still much to do on her, but she's looking presentable.

Today I did a flight from Kennedy to Orlando in Prepar3D with the QualityWings 757. Climbing away from New York. My flight plan kept me parallel to the east coast cruising at FL380. Fast forward to initial descent. Approaching from the north, to proceed on a downwind right base for 35R. Gentle touchdown. Taxi to the gate. Bonus: nostalgia and the modern era come together. Hope you enjoyed!
