I recently got the XP11 beta and after taking some time to setup the UI and my controls, I'm surprised I never used XP before. I'm mainly flying XP10 right now however because the 11 beta has some VRAM and stutter issues that I'm not really keen on yet (I'd rather just fly 10 until 11 is full release). I made some orthophotos and bought the IXEG, so here's a few:

All shots using Envtex presets coupled with ASCA and AS2016, using a PTA tweek downloaded from Envtex with a slight mod to Aircraft lighting to remove a too bright ambient light from the moon in the cockpit and not allowing Envtex to model Cumulus clouds. This is from P3D 3.41 with Orbx scenery. A short (very short) video here with the same effects over Zel Am See

Nothing special, just snapped a couple fun pics while tinkering with XP10.51. Below pics are my current favorite add-ons I've been enjoying the last few weeks... Had a VIP that paid extra to land here, so who was I to complain? Yes, that's a tight spot to land this beauty but the scenery was too pretty to object ha.... made it, but the trees at end of runway come up quick! And watch the tires on the taxi-way. The Dash 8-Q400 is becoming one of my favourite aircraft and well suited to my preferred route length of generally anything under two hours. Over the Christmas and New Year break I managed to log a few hours with these images taken on a flight from Bristol (EGGD) to Kerry (EIKY). Taxing to the runway at Bristol with seventy two passengers onboard. Descending into Kerry with the Macgillycuddy's Reeks in the background. The light is fading but we are nicely set on the approach. It is a "tight" ramp at Kerry (even for a Q400) and a nicely detailed airport is available from Eiresim. The flight time was a little over one hour with ar…

Nothing exciting here. Just a simple little bleed air problem. But it was cool to peer into the CMC pages of the FMC as to whats' happening and actioning the problem. It sure beats doing nothing for 12 hours. b a

An expensive bird to take around the radar pattern haha! I finally caved... there was a very well done video I saw on the a2a forums which is what finally did me in. Here's the thread. Black cockpits are tough, (my favorite the Realair legacy suffers from this as well... tough to see without HDR), but it's still a great office!

And why not? Ortho4XP and default X-Plane 11 overlay. Just loving it. Thinking about expanding my storage from 1 to 2 or even 4 TB for Ortho stuff.
