The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Have a favorite screen shot of your simulator that you would like to share? You can by posting it here. Please follow image posting rules (below). Images must be hosted on an image hosting website. Please use prefixes to identify the simulator you are using (see pinned topic for guidance). Please include information about the screenshot(s) such as location (flight plan?), the aircraft, weather engine, scenery (i.e., Orbx/FTX, GEX, FSDT, FlightBeam, FlyTampa, etc.).
Screenshot Image Posting Rules
- Images must be hosted on your own image server site, such as Drop Box, Google Drive, Photobucket.com, OZx Image Hosting, or a website that you own. See guidance at following link - http://www.avsim.com/topic/479802-how-do-i-post-a-screenshot/
- Images can be of any size; however, be considerate of your fellow AVSIM members as large photos will take longer to load for some members who do not have fast Internet connections.
- Images will automatically be resized to fit the viewer's screen width. This process is done automatically by the AVSIM website program.
- No more than 20 images per thread (topic). Moderators will remove any image that exceed this requirement.
- AVSIM members are reminded of the AVSIM Terms of Service in respect to images, and copyrighted and intellectual property. Images that violate our policies regarding copyrights and family safe environment will be removed and, depending on the severity of violation, user suspended or banned from AVSIM.
- Images copyrighted on other websites such as Airliners.net are not allowed and will be removed immediately.

It (the first image, below) looks like a DC-3...but, not exactly one...🙂... The A340 was built in 4 variants (-200/-300/-500/-600), and, please note the oddity that Airbus never built a -400 variant of A340. I'd occasions to travel in the two longest A340 variants (-500/-600), but, never in the shorter ones...the 2nd image, below, shows an A340-300... The last 2 images are for A330-900neo in Delta and MEA (Middle East Airlines) colors... Enjoy...!!

An Early Monsoon Season Is A Coming...June is early for this annual event in SoCal. The Flight starts at Big Bear Lake and covers San Bernardino, Cajon Pass and enters the Southern Mojave Desert. This was the actual weather around 10:00 AM on June 23th. The Thunderstorm showed up between 12-1:00 PM (Not Shown). Thanks for looking & commenting...Darryl

[OK, please excuse my click-bait title,...🙂...but, frankly, as you'll see, below...there is some truth to my claim. This post was triggered by a couple of factors: (1) A few 737-300 repaints (of a freeware model) I came across, in the Library today, and (2) An interesting article I read titled, "The Airport Where Every 737 Takes its First Flight...". The Airport being referenced, here, is Renton Municipal Airport (KRNT), (IATA and FAA LID) 3-digit codes, for which is "RNT" (sounds like "Runt"...Oh well...let's not, then, take the literal meaning of the word...)...] So, first of all, please find, below, at the start of my image set, 3 screenshots of 3 different airlin…

My PC was down for quite some time but it's back up now and I had a few free minutes to do a quick flight from EGE to ASE. This is mostly VFR-ish (haha) and under my own nav. Just Flight Turbo Arrow and TDS GTN Xi Oh, the the EGE scenery is done by one of the CJ4 team members and super nice: https://flightsim.to/file/16866/kege-eagle-county-regional-airport-gypsum-colorado Lots of rain showers in the area kegrainbow by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr vfrish by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr vfrish2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Table of Red vfrish3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr vfrish4 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr vfrish5 by Rya…

Been flying the MD-82 ALOT now after I had learned how to use the Canadian Marconi FMS / PMS, it really does add some more flavor to the flying experience.

Trying out formation flying with Sky Dolly. Never managed to get to grips with FCR as I can't get past the awful user interface, although I may go back and have another go this week. A pair of G-91s (pretend they're F-86s and it's more fun). Didn't get very far before I lost the initial aircraft and cancelled out, but it was fun and I'll persevere. cheers, Andy

Just the one. I was trying out Sky Dolly with its formation options, and had planned to try and recreate an XB-70 flight with its B-58 chase plane. Unfortunately, the XB-70 portover I had no longer seems to work in the current release of MSFS, and this B-58 is only just about usable (sometimes it'll fly, sometimes not, and in either case it doesn't want to stay in the air too long). So, all I got was one shot of the Hustler doing its thing - enjoy! cheers, Andy
