The Level D 767 | Wilco PIC 767 Forum

I am nearly complete my cockpit in order to use the amazing LEVEL D 767, but when i install it i found there is no undocked panels to PFD ND ECAS's. I need to edit my cfg to undock the panels and drag them into thier positions in my cockpit (squares). Can anyone give me or tell me how i can modifiy the panel cfg for the level D767 cuz i don't know how i can modified it to undock the PFD ND ECAS's. Please help me cuz my project is stop at this point... zoher.

Hello ! I'm having a problem with accessing the level d menu in fsx. I get a crash to desktop.... However this doesn't happen every single time, but enough to cause some frustration. I understand others have had this problem as well. Any solutions ? I'm aware this is not the official forum Thx Ron

Hi Have the LDS 767 in FS9 on Win 7 64 bit. Now for some reason , whenever I try to access the Level D Menu to set preferences , the screen goes black and FS9 hangs up ! Waited for long intervals for it to restore but to no avail , Any idea as to why is this happening and its solutions! Help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

Hi All: I had a massive crash of my computer and now have a ASUS with Windows 8. I have re-loaded Level D and the aircraft are fine but the cockpits have no gauges showing in 2D or VC. Can someone tell me were to place the gauges folder in FS2004 for LevelD? Thanks so much.. Ed Ryan

I have had my LVLD 767 for years and it is a registered version. Recently a friend of mine, who also has a registered version, noticed that on the left of the 2d panel autopilot there is a bmp of a gauge with two indicators, two knobs and a center switch. The gauge is not functional. I have the same thing on mine. On the VC panels the gauge is active. (NAV1 frequency knob and display, NAV1 course display and knob and a VOR/DME switch) I have looked in my panel.cfg and I can't find the gauge on the 2d or the VC panel. Is the 2d gauge active and if so what entry is missing in our panel.cfg's. The gauge has to be part of the model as it is not listed in the VC portion of th…

After installing 767 there are no thumbnails of the aircraft in FSX only generic Lev D thumbs? Do official repaints come with thumbnails? I note I downloaded a wing tip version of Air New Zealand which required the copying of texture into sim objects/config and this version does have a thumbnail where as the official auto install versions seem not to have these thumbnail pics. Am I correct? Do I need to source and add these myself? When choosing the airline to fly the correct aircraft livery is loaded from FSX but its by description not picture. Over on the FSX forum some fellow asked about the LDS 767. Tom had to shut down the thread after it predictably turned into a shouting match between 2 preschoolers, but lost in that was what I consider to be some of the most important news we've heard in a long time about this hobby (and I'm including the PMDG 777 in that). A fellow named Andre, who I guess is part of the LDS development team, indicated that work on the 757 was nearing completion and implied that we could expect its release in 2013. Hi guys, I posted this issue I have run into at the LevelD forums, but didn't really get an answer other than the pause was too long. Any one seen this before: Like I said the only other time I have had this issue is with the original Aerosoft AirbusX. I can normally pause a flight overnight, and resume with no problems with other payware from PMDG, iFly, QualityWings and the new AirbusX. Other than trying a complete re-install any ideas? Hello, I have been attempting to get my 767 loaded into P3D. So far it is being shown as an aircraft in the select aircraft dropdown box in P3D. I used the Migration tool to do the install. Everthing is fine until I load the aircraft at an airport, I get a crash to desktop. FSX is not installed on my computer and virtual FSX is off as suggested. I have exhausted myself searching forums, I'm not a frequent topic starter. I have seen 1 guy get it to work, however, it appeared to have been done manually (before the Migration tool). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

An interesting thread over at the PMDG general foum called 757 and 767 in which the possibility of a PMDG 757 is discussed.What struck me is that PMDG said that the 757 is one of their favorite planes, but out of loyalty to LDS they would not pursue it, until they know for sure, that the LDS project is dead.So for consumers, it means is that the lack of communications/updates from LDS has not only served to confuse us about whether or not there will ever be an LDS 757, but it seems that another developer is hamstrung by the situation as well.While I understand that PMDG has made this decision out of their admirable sense of loyalty to a friend, it doesn't seem fair that L…

I have both the LevelD 767 and FS2 Crew LevelD 767. In your opinion, which is better for you? I used the FS2 crew version and kept getting crashes. I haven't tried just the regular LevelD 767 but I have heard people saying none of their LevelD birds have had a CTD.

I noticed that there seems to be a .dll file error with the LevelD 767. I don't know if there are conflicts between it and PMDG but everytime I load the 767 it wants to crash. No other aircraft does this. Is anybody else having any issues like this?

Hi How could it possibly be that there is no posts, no FAQ and no nothing about frozen and unusable start switches on the LDS 767. What am I doing wrong/missing? Is it supposed to be like this in FSX? And why is there a forced engine auto start on the LDS? Further explanation: I used the LDS for years in FS9 and never had an issue with both engines trying to start themselfs up all the time. When I went over to FSX I decided to not go for the LDS 767, until two days ago and now I cannot fix this issue. The engine start switches are frozen solid in both VC and 2d, and are not usable. FSX is crashing when I contact ground for external power, air, pushback, etc. this only happens when I'm running fs2crew. Is there a quick fix?

While trying to set a constant altitude in the LEGS page before a step climb in the FMC, the plane shut off LNAV, and went to MCP controlled mode. When I removed all of these altitudes, the speed and altitude lines on the LEGS page remained blank, and the VNAV page had MCP active across the top, and no VNAV information anywhere. Is there a way to get the VNAV info to return in mid-flight right here, or did I basically screw up and have to control it by hand the rest of the way when that happens?

Hi all in the forum I have for quite some time flown my latest plane that I bought which was not Level D and flown it exclusively online with the VA that I am a member of. Rules of the VA are not to fly routes in other airframes on line that are not used on that route. In the UK that restricts what one can do, so I have begun to fly the Level D again and wow what a surprise. I had forgotten just how good it is. It behaves flawlessly, the only restriction is my poor piloting. The plane behaves really well on my tired old Win Xp machine and fsx. and online with my VA there are hundreds of routes to fly.
