Well I bit the bullet and rode the gravy train next stop Level D. I owned 767 PIC and just did not want to do that anymore until Captain Sim rode into town on a shiny metallic and quite overloaded horse called the 767-300. Comparison you ask? Unique and quite the same. Honestly. I learned the 767 all over again on Captain Sim 767, stepped into Level D, and within moments I was on my way from Atlanta to LA. Now mind you I did not CTRL-E and go. I conducted my preflight, pre-start, post-start, takeoff, and after-takeoff. So nice to have the F/O handle the flaps and gear while I concentrate on sipping coffee and activating the autopilot LNAV/VNAV (no VNAV till TOC? Wh…

I have been struggling with this problem for a few weeks now. I recently got a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit. I have slowly managed to get most everything else running. I can get LDS to install, but I can't seem to get any repaints to work.Repaint manager runs fine, I follow all the directions for installing the repaint. But when I open FS9 and look at the aircraft, the repaint for which I installed isn't there. I have tried both the DXT3, and the regular one.I'm running everything as the administartor. If anyone has any idea's? It would be greatly appreciated.

HelloI am still having problems with the flaps settings , normally T/O Flaps setting are 5, 15,20, but for some extrange reason i couldn't set flaps 20 without having the T/O Config Warn, and the FMC does not take the input for flaps20 on the Takeoff page, E/O page doesn't work on CLB and CRZ pageevery time i fly an E/O procedure, when i start to reduce the associated thrust lever to idle the another one goes to idle too!if someone of you could help ,i would really appreciate it thx Andre

Pretty much all Boeing 767s no longer look nor are equiped as the Level D 767s is any more. Nearly all that I have seen now have been retrofitted with winglets, and they are now being retrofitted with a modern glass cockpit that resembles that which can be found on a 777. Any chance Level D would be willing to update their aircraft to match their realworld counterparts much like PMDG did with their 747-8 update?

Hello i have been trying to get my go flight modules to work every since i downloaded the new software i cannot get it to work with the new 1.90.in fact all i have ever used was the 1.70 series and those drivers worked well for me.i also had trouble with the 1.80 series and went back to the 1.70.the go flight site is down and im wanting to put the older drivers back on , and i cannot seem to find then.and also why dont the new drivers 1.90 work for my system.xp 64 bit pro/ e8500/4 gig/260 goig hd.i have removed all older drivers and reloaded the new 1.90 and still nothing.on the config it will show the mods connected and i can program the keys and rotories to the level d …

Have been flying the FSX LevelD 767 for a while now and after installing a few repaints the virtual officer has been turned on. Just wondering if anyone can help me with turning it off.Also if there are instructions on operating the FMC that would be helpful too.Thanks very muchMark

I know that someone not too long ago made a widescreen panel for the 767, and I was wondering if someone had it. I have the panel, but not the correct panel.cfg file. I have FS9, but the one I have is for FSX. If anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.Chris

Hi,there is any way i can modify the actual 767PIC idle engine parameters to the real ones ,,, idle F/F 4.7!!!! normally it goes from 800pph to 1200 pph not 4700pph , also there is a problem with the thrust engine ratings the engines doesn't follow the N1 limits I.E. N1 T/O 105.9 the engines stops at 101.9 , this happends before THR HLD the same thing happens with CL or CON,,,there is any way to fix up thisTHXAndre

I have recently upgraded to Windows7 64 bit and have been struggling with my PMDG 737NG. There have been several problems so I am thinking that perhaps a switch to the LevelD 767 would be in order. I am NOT bashing any product but I was wondering what your thoughts were on the comparison between the two (I realize they are different aircraft types) products. Beyond the fact that one is a 76 and the other is a 73, what are the selling points of the LevelD product? I can read the spec sheet, but was hoping the guys in the sim-world who have been flying it can offer some insight. Hi Everyone, Recently fired up the level D 767 which I havent flown in some time. I don't recall having this problem though... It seems once I get the 767 moving at a speed of 10 knots on the ground...she seems to continue to increase taxi speed even with throttle at idle. I thought it was a weight issue but I have made the weight very low to see if it fixed it...nope...still increases. Once at 10 knots within seconds I am at 15 then 20....then I have to apply brake to slow it down. Is there a setting that maybe I am missing?? Could it be something with my joystick's throttle settings?? Any help on this would be great..thanksCaptPaul

Is there any way to prevent FS Traffic2004 causing inadvertent collisions with aircraft? I had a very frustrating incident with a Level-D 767-300ER First Choice repaint about to touch down from a long-haul flight from KMIA into EGKK using FS2Crew being hit by an FS Traffic2004 plane descending right above the 767-300ER and causing a collision.What a wasted flight.Luckily I saved the flight but I now lose the FS2Crew experience of auto-landing the plane.Any suggestions/tips welcome.Thanks.RICK ALMEIDA

I'm flying 767PIC on FS2002/Windows XPAfter loading my planned cruise altitude in the perf init page I go to the activated flight plan legs page and see a different top of climb altitude. It is usually higher and I assume the FMC optimum altitude for the leg length. (i.e. I load FL170 for a 300nm leg due to ATC constraints and the FMC has me climbing to FL 290.)The actual FMC honors whatever cruise altitude you input. Is this a 767PIC anomaly or just my setup? Does level-D behave this way as well?Thanks,John Z.

Greetings all,I was about the do a flight the other day, but after engine start I noticed a message on the upper EICAS referring to "R Window Open" (or something like that...it was "R window" something). When I land and set reverse thrust (no autobrakes) it does set reverse thrust but I hear "Reverse thrust disengaged". When I disengage reverse thrust I don't hear anything. Any ideas?

Hi,I recently moved over to Windows Vista. Prior to this I was running the LVLD763 with the GF MCP and all was working perfectly. Now I have moved over to a Vista machine and even with latest drivers and ensuring that LVLD is selected in the config manager it still when I start the sim does not seem to want to work.Anyone had anything similar to this?Thanks in advanceLiam
