Can I fly north Atlantic tracks and rnav approaches on the level d 767 for fsx if I use the airac that comes with the level d 767 and the navaids that come with fsx and don't update them.

With the LDS 767, I sometimes never get ILS guidance upon arrival to my destination airport. I can relocate my aircraft to another airport runway with ILS, change to the new correct frequency, and the display for glideslope is still dead. I do have ILS selected, with the correct frequency, and the identifier is displayed, just no live guidance display. I can restart FSX and make a duplicate flight, or runway choice and everything is fine with a live display. Works some of the time, dead some of the time. This is unique to the LDS 767, and ILS. VOR reception and all other birds have no problem. Has anyone else seen this happen and possibly know what I am do…

Hi everyone! I'm having some problems with this aircraft. When in FSX I select the 767 and it is already on, so I go into the menu and i select the "parked at seattle" state to get in cold & dark. Everything ok for now. I follow all the checklist to prepare the cockpit but i can't get the APU on. When i select the apu switch tu on an amber FAULT light come on, and then when i select start the light disappear and a white RUN light flashes twice. After a while an horn come up (i get no stuck RUN light), so i have no apu. If i decide to not turn on the apu and use the external power, I can get all the screens on, but when I select one of the engine start switches to on …

Gentlemen, I am unable to open the Cargo Doors on the Level D 767. I have been using Shift+1 to open the main entrance door and that opens and closes OK. However, when I try Shift+2 and Shift+3 the cargo doors will not open. What happens is that these key strokes closes the main entrance door. What are the correct key strokes to open all doors, main and Cargo? Thank you. Stanner

Gentlemen, I am using the Level D 767 in FS9. In my departure airport I have no problem in taxing using manual rudder on my joystick. However, when I land at the destination airport, the manual rudder controls will not operate the rudder. I must switch to AUTOMATIC rudder in order to taxi. I do not have this problem with other aircraft. Any ideas? Thanks. Stanner

I haven't used the level d 767 but is it difficult to update the latest navigational data into the fmc.i have read that you can do this on www.navigraph.com but i find the information on this website very complicated.any help appreciated. Regards, Peter Dungan

Hi All I have been enjoying FSX for quite sometime now, since 2006 and I have flown many aircrafts, PMDG, A2A, Aerosoft Airbus and much more. I have uninstall LEVEL-D 767 more than I care to count, but for whatever reason, I just want to come back and fly it again. Especially with FSCREW is even more fun. Yes, I know the graphic is blah blah blah, but it doesnt change the fact its a great plane to fly. I love flying in 2D view as well as virtual cockpit, they are both great. I find it amazing with all this high tech stuff incorporated into the PMDG 777 and the NGX, I still want to fly this bird. Share your thought David

Hi ppl. I've reinstalled my simulator about a month ago, everything went fine (incredibly), so my paranoia started telling me "something must be wrong here". Just to clear my doubts, is it normal that the TCAS doesn't display any traffic information on this situation?. (see pics) The aircraft was between ICARO and MMTP on a 60NM range (Squawkbox was already showing it on the multiplayer session, so the aircraft was displayed correctly). We were both at FL330. I had made like 20 flights on Wilco's A320, the TCAS range tolerance is much greater on that aircraft, I got used to always see aircraft's on TCAS.

If I install LD767 FSX won't' run on Win 8. Uninstall and it runs fine. Any ideas? I think it's probably a DLL issue but have no idea how to fix. Haven't gotten a response in their forum.

I purchased all of the TSS sound sets for the 767, and they work correctly with all of the stock Level D liveries, but they do not work with any downloaded liveries. With typical livery installations, there is a section added to the aircraft.cfg file, which makes it very easy to assign sound sets to specific liveries. In the case of the Level D 767, downloaded liveries installed with the repaint manager do not show up in the aircraft.cfg, so I have not been able to get my additional liveries to utilize the TSS sounds. I am not sure if this is a Windows, Level D or FSX issue. I want to be able to save un-docked Window positions. I run three monitors for the outside view and two 2D panel monitors. It takes some time to position the main panel, Overhead, pedestal and CDU. I want to be able to load FSX/Level D with preset window/panel positions.Anybody know how?I tried to use the Save and Load fucntion. These fucntions do not seem to remeber window positions.Thanks,Bard

Just wondering if someone could tell me how to insert a DME arc into the FMC. I know how to do it in the PMDG MD11 and 737 but cannot figure out how to in the LVD 767. For example, I am flying into Dublin from the west and do a 19nm DME arc, don't you normally type in DUB/292/19 ? Appreciate the help!

Is the longitudinal stability set at neutral vs positive on level D sims. I ask because during straight and level flight it always seems like its a bit pitch sensitive resulting in jerking up and down. Thanx

So I've been flying around recently with this golden add-on, and after every landing, something strange happens- the number 2 engine shuts down by itself. I can't find a solution- the FO is disabled, there is ample fuel, I didn't press any hardware buttons.. Has anyone ever encountered/solved this issue, and if so, how? Thanks in advance.

For a reason that I don't understand the gau. files for the airspeed have disappeared. Can anyone send copy's of them to me or tell me where I can get them from ? I know I could do a re-install but I would prefer not to as I have a lot of liveries and add ons, new VC textures,.FS Crew etc Plane is still flyable using speed tape. Thanks Steve

I haven't flown the Level-D 767 for a few months (this is FS9) and I now find that when I am ready to taxi and increase throttle, the spoilers come up and the cowl flaps open... This is undoubtedly somethi9ng to do with the interaction between my Saitek X52 and my (registered version of) FSUIPC. If I increase power by using F3 or F4 on the keyboard, there is no problem - but as soon as I touch the throttles on the X52... I am reasonably OK with the Saitek setup but am hardly familiar at all with the FSUIPC interface. I do not have this problem with any other aircraft, just the Level-D 767. Could somebody kindly help me to sort this out (I'll need step-by-step for …

Hi, this might be a somewhat unorthodox question, but what the heck... I'm currently trying out the demo of VoxATC; not to make things too easy, that software requires Navigraph data for SID&STAR charts for proper IFR flying. Now I don't want to buy some data set for a plane I'm not interested in (more a GA guy) for a demo where I've got 6 days worth of trial time left; plus I have a real-world IFR AIP lying around valid for October 2012. So my question: does anyone know whether it's possible to get old ("historic") Navigraph LevelD 767 FMS data free of charge? As mentioned, 10-2012 would be perfect... Thanks, Daniel

After searching AVSIM and Googling for half an hour or so, I have come to a dead end with broken links or posts with inconclusive answers. So can I ask again afresh? I have a number of 767-200s from iFDG & Posky and would like to use the Level-D panel with those aircraft. Has anyone got instructions on how to do this? I assume it is possible? I have done this with other aircraft (a320s; 747-200s etc.) with no problem and maybe can do it again with the 767s by trial and error, but clearly better to have proper instructions!
