Hi:I've now downloaded the above file at least four times, since I have never been able to install it, and I thought it might be something on me end. I get the error message "rcv22dt is not a valid Win32 application", and the icon doesn't look like the other downloaded application files, which installed fine. What am I doing wrong?Herb

Hi Gang,I just tried a flight from KSEA to KSLC, all went well until I was at 5000' about 10 miles from 16L and then told to descend to 4000'. This is a problem since the airport alt is 4200. Descent was normal, I came in at 10k 40 miles out.Does the program take into account the altiude of the arrival airport? Or maybe I've missed something as I'm new to the program. Thanks,Jim

Will RC v.3 be compatiable with AI aircraft as far as interaction goes? I ask this because with Project AI's first release coming up, now one who wants a real enviroment will be without this realistic look at airline traffic the world over.Eric

Hi,I've recently bought PIC and have been trying it out with RCV22 using the Posky/PIC merge for Boeing 767. After creating an adventure based on a flight plan from FSNav451, I flew the plan in accordance obviously with the RCV controllers instructions, using the PIC FMC as guidance only. When it came to approach all was well, I was guided to Glide Slope and Localiser as usual by the controller and locked onto these fine. On the last few minutes of the approach Autoland successfully engaged and still all was well, then shortly before touchdown, a few hundred feet to go, the adventure seemed to terminate with the critique being announced!!! then the terminated screen came u…

I was checking out the various flight planners on the RC website since I am planning on getting RC soon. I have FS2002, a 1.4 P4 system with 512 meg ram. I'm confused as to which planner would be the best one. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks. :-wave

Hi, all. Been trying for a couple of days to download the optional chatter files from the main RC site. Whatever ftp server they're pointing to is not working (I believe it's somewhere in the UK). I've searched through the messages in this forum looking for pointers to other download sites, but haven't found any (except for a reference to Orange Air, where I was also not able to find the files to download). Is there a US site where the complete set of chatter files can be downloaded?Best regards, Ron

Posted a while back that I had problems compiling flight plans to certain airports in RC after exporting the flight plan from Nav 3.1. The error message from RC when compiling is to the effect "....the number of arrival runways in your flight plan exceed the allowed number of 16. Reduce the number of arrival runways and try again."The first time this error message occurred it was for an airport located in an area where I had downloaded mesh scenery (PHNL). Scott Campbell was nice enough to point out that compiling my Nav 3.1 scenery database subsequent to adding mesh scenery may be the cause of the problem. I also e-mailed Ted Wright to confirm, etc. but did not receiv…

Bonjour,I downloaded yesterday the sample KSEA-KTLH but I have not really had enough time to dig into it so far to have it work ok: this is my planed homework for the week-end.However, I already realise that I don't have enough clear ideas on how those different add-ons work with each other:- Flight planer- RC- FMC (PIC767 or PSS)So here are some questions:-1- FSBuild is not recommanded on RC website. Does-it work ok with RC?-2- FSNav is recommanded for RC. Does FSNav work ok with PIC767?-3- Is there any navdatabase included in RC?-4- Can I have the same navdatabase for the FMC, the flight planer(and RC, if it needs one)?-5- What happens if, using 2 or 3 different navdata…

Hi All,Just completed a flight from Denver to LAX, when Radar contact clears you to decend to your initial contact point, as in this flight..Expect to cross 40 miles of FUELR at 10000 and 250 knots, How do you program the FMC in 767 PIC to do this??? Man I have tried every thing. Ended up missing the altitude clearance and it started the down fall of my flight. Also is their any way for Radar contact to recognize that you are flying a STAR (CIVET4)so it does not vector you all over the place, as it did me sending me over the Pacific ocean when I was to land on 24L, Heck I never did get to the airport.Any help is appreciated,Thanks,Dale Reitz

  16. I am a little more familiar with RC now and have decided I will probably get the CD version. I have FS2002 and that's it. It seems from what I'm reading that I may need some other programs such as a flight planner to be able to use RC. Can I use the default FS2002 flight planner or are their better ones that I need? What other programs do I need? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.:-hmmm

Good day to you. Since releasing ACLoader a year or so ago I have now had over 10,000 DL's of it in various versions. In all that time I've only heard from people with issues and suggestions. Needless to say, I'm happy it's working for nearly everyone else.My question is, WHO is using it and how? Which VA's and general public?Just curious.BTW - I'm working on Version 4 development now, so you may wish to send your suggestions and comments. Some features of Version 4:[ul][li]"Use FS98" changed to "Write Reports ONLY"[/li][li]Doesn't care if you have Flight Sim. Will run whether or not it's present. If Flight Sim 200x is not present in the directory setting, will automat…

HiJust purchased RC online. I feel stupid to ask this question, but where are the sample files? Aren't they something that I should be able to try before I buy?Do I have to program the route and the compile it, or are these downloadable sample files? Like I said, I feel stupid that I can't figure this out myself.Appreciate the help.

Hello,Being totally new to it, I am considering improving my FS2002 flight sim skills by buying/using RC2.2 . So here are some questions:-1- would-it be better to wait for RC3 late this year?-2- is RC2.2 coming with different languages? French?-3- is RC2.2 talking with FSMeteo?-4- how does RC2.2 (or will RC3) compare to "Captain Speaking 2002"?-5- how long does-it take to get used to RC2.2 when stating from zero (but being serious and reading manuals)?-6- is there any manual / tutorial included with RC2.2?Many thks et..bien amicalement a tousMichelKSEA

I have FS2002 and am considering getting Radar Contact. I have had both versions of Pro Pilot for previous versions of FSim and have only bought boxed versions. I understand that Radar Contact is available online. I visited the download site and noticed all the different files. What files do I need for a complete package and what is the cost? Thanks.:-)

Hi,I have just purchased FSNav 4.5 and started using it to produce plans for Radar Contact. However I seem to be having problems with the runway part of the planning.I prepare the plan in FSNAV ok by dragging and dropping the appropriate departure and arrival runways into the plan and then autogenerating the plan.I then save it in FSNAV and also export this tomodulesfsnavigatorfltexport directory as per the RCV 22 manual.I do notice however that after giving it a title, the arrival and departure runways are not automatically selected as it says in the manual, I do select them manually but I am suspicious this is not right! I then open RCV22 and browse to the .apl file and …

  24. Good Day Everyone,I have just returned from one of the most amazing theatrical performances I believe I have ever seen or will likely ever see. I am referring to a performance of Charlie Victor Romeo. This text is taken directly from their website: http://www.charlievictorromeo.com/One of the most unique and riveting theatrical experiences to hit New York in seasons, CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO (CVR) is a live performance documentary derived entirely from the "Black Box" transcripts of six major real-life airline emergencies. Allowing the audience into the tension-filled cockpits of actual flights in distress, CHARLIE VICTOR ROMEO is a fascinating portrait of the psychology of cr…

Hi!I was wanting to record my own voice for rc2.2 and found this neat little utility written by Kirby Angell called SimVoice. Unfortunately, it's shareware(limitation is that it adds blasts of static every second or so), but it's impossible to register anymore(the site doesn't exist anymore). It looked like it could save me loads of time - is there any other similar program to record my voice or do I have to manually record each sample at a time?Thanks...epaga
