HiHow is it possible to file a DP in FSNav without selecting the departure runway.If I just select the departure airport without selecting the runway FSNav does not display a SID/DP but just a line straight from the airport to the first waypoint.I could just select the runway in the flight plan and then tell RC which runway I want to depart from but surly this is not how it is done in real life.ThanksMartyn Carr

Can adventure for a flight of 32 miles and VOR next to destination airport be created and work? Do I need a waypoint in between? Thanks.jmike46

GuysI'm getting random lockups of FS2k2 running the RC sample files. First two times I tried to load an adventure, I got a freeze requiring a reboot under XP Pro, which usually never happens.I then managed to complete the KTUS-KALB flight but then I got a lockup when I set my parking brakes at my dest. Again, had to reboot.I thought maybe TweakXP was causing this and I wanted to reorganize partitions so I did a full reinstallation of XP and FS2k2, started up in the cessna at KTUS and as soon as I got started on the scenario...lockup. Started again with the Posky 773 and it happened before I'd got away from the gate.Before it locked up with a black screen, I saw that the…

Everytime I start a RC Adventure I find myself with a panel (PIC767 in this case) with the start levers on and lot of others swtiches off position. How can I enable RC to start the adventure in a dark cockpit enviroment? my default flight state is not taken into account when loading the adventure.

Is it possible to run RC on a second computer networked with WideFS or some other interface? Thanks!David

I'm the one with the previous Fatal Error with Sound thread. I reinstalled FS2k2, opened RC to create my adventures and exited RC. Started FS2k2, found my adventures in the Select Flight>Adventures area, and clicked on one. The screen went black, my mouse curser turned into its "busy/load" mode, and I waited. And waited. The screen did not freeze, but my adventure never loaded. I know I waited at least 2 minutes. I looked at my CPU case, and mine has an amber light that blinks as it's working. While waiting, I noticed this was not ocurring; did I not give it enough time to load?

I usually play with 100% ATC (When not using RC) and I find very annoying the fact that the default FS2002 ATC does a very poor job on maintaining AC separation... I almost had a midair collision when a 747 passed by!!! it was chasing me! ATC did not notice we were close to each other! I was NUMER #1 to land! how will RC v3.0 manage this little annoyances?

I went to xp from ME and now seem to be having some problems.First. Once RC is loaded I used to get voice saying "as real as it gets" or something like that. Now no voice. I checked the folder heirarchy and I have ADVWAVECACHEFLEETWOOD.2nd. I get to the pilots menu (and other areas) and I cant go anywhere. I know there used to be a delay but not like I have now. Can someone explain the map and what it would like like visually.If I go down, it seems to me I should be able to go back up. Not the case. Just cant visualize what it needs.Any help would be appreciatedRegardsBobG

Got RCv2.2 ready to go; flight plan exported from Nav3 and shows in RC. Now, ready to start up FS2002. Splash screen, or whatever it's called, comes up and the question of do you want to load sound....from 3rd party software: click yes or no. Clicking no will disable the 3rd party software. I have clicked yes and no with same result. Screen goes black, get the hourglass (thinking it's just loading everything), and then the blue screen with the following message: Fatal OE @ 0028:C001409B in VXD VMM (01) + 0001309B. Locks up, have to reset, wait for ScanDisk, etc.I've read and printed most of the FAQ on the RC site, searched this board to find no mention of this type of err…

I'm sure this has been asked already,but is there a way to turn down the volume for the chatter? I also use FDC and the diffrence in volume is overwhelming. Thanks,Vic

I have the CD version and when the CD auto starts it prompts me as to whether I want it to install RC 2.2. I click on O.K. and it minimises and stays that way with no further activity. If I check the task list it shows Setup (Not Responding).Can anyone advise?ThanksNigel Andrews

Hi,Having flown only once with RC2.2, I'm puzzled by the following quotation from the support pages:"We're looking for our European friends to enhance their databases to where they too can be incorporated in Radar Contact! That's right... our goal is for you to be able to fly anywhere in the world, Radar Contact!"The adventure I made was between two Danish airports, and it worked much as I anticipated. What will be better if I try to fly in the USA?

Can someone tell my how in the world I install this program on my new computer? I tried to installed from the CD I had purchased a couple of years ago and not having FS2000 on my new computer, (only FS2002) the install program does not find the FS2000 directory and closes without an installation.

Dear JDSorry if this question has been asked before.I have been playing with Lago's fantastic new FS Maintenance program and had to abort my take off roll, due to airspeed failure.RC v2.2 didn't register this and I was able to fix the gauge back at the line and return to the runway and leave without any errors.Just wondered if version 3 will cope with aborted take off's?RegardsMark

What is the difference between SOO & PMU in the RCCP? Sometimes I enter CTL SHF I or PMU and the pilots menu does not come up, but it does with SOO.Thanks,Howard

Scott, there's a lot of people experiencing problems with Takeoffs and EARLYrotation with the PIC panel... could it be related to the way ACLoader is distributing weight?Someone suggested to move the contact points further back, it will solve the early rotation problembut not the problems that may arise from having too much weight in the back of the plane...Does changing the empty weight MOI parameter change anything? advise!

Any chance a controller will tell me what SID/STAR to fly? or I have to include it in the plan to have the controller direct me to that particular departure/approach procedure?, I would love to have the controller randomly tell me what procedure to fly...
