Hi, I am using AFCAD to add new gates to some italian airports (but not only), but, before sharing my work, I would like to insert the real correct names and numbers of the gates and ramps.Does anyone know where I can find these infos?Thank you very much (don't look at my english please)Mario

Is anyone else having problems saving their navaids in Afcad04? I can add them fine, they show up, etc, but a save and reload and they're gone. Not to mention AI IFR flights won't show up. If it's an RTFM problem, can you direct my (apparently) blind self to the relevant section?

Hi!At last I could make my AFCAD2 work in FS9,but when I try to save and make changes to nodes,position of taxiways, gates, etc. I don't see any changes made.This applies especially when I want to make new nodes, taxiways,etc. for addon airports.Does anyone know if this can be solved?Grateful for help.Thanks!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

Hi!I wonder if I need to register (buy) FSUIPC to make the newFS9 AFCAD work.I installed it this morning and tried to lock it to the sim,but when I slew round AFCAD doesn't follow/lock.Does that mean I need to register FSUIPC first, or what am Idoing wrong?I mailed to Lee Swordy, but I take it he is very busy answering everybody's questions right now.Does anyone know?Grateful for help.Thanks!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

I'm very new to all of this, even though I've been using FS2002 for awhile now. I've been using AITM w/ built in Ttools to add aircraft and flight plans. I'm sure I didnt do it right becuse now I have anywhere from 2 - 10 aircraft flighing the same route! I mean, it looks cool to be in an almost formation and all, but for the life of me I cant get AITM to delete the duplicat records. I've open the file and tried to see if I could just eye ball it.... ah, no go. Any help would be great!! or, if someone wants to just email a good flightplans.txt that I could use to replace what I have now, that would be even better! Thanks for your help! [email protected]

Hello!I wonder what editor I need to be able to save flightplanswith several legs?So far I can only save default type flightplans, like this:AC#611,AC744,10%,6Hr,IFR,00:38:59,01:17:01,065,F,5562,KSAT,03:12:00,03:50:02,065,F,5562,KIAHWhen I try to use several legs the editor just doesn't save.Does anyone know how to solve this?Grateful for help.Thanks!Hans HermanssonSWEDEN

Started playing with ver 2, and I see that it is possible to have numerous aircraft.txt and flightplans.txt to compile back into traffic_xxx.bgl. If I understand it, the aircraft number only needs to be consistent between the specifc two files that are being compiled, or must aircraft number be globally unique between all traffic.bgl files? Or, if they only have local scope, it appears that projectai type resources tend to reserve aircraft number blocks to specific airlines, so should this convention be continued regardless? Or should a single aircraft.txt file be used for all compiles?scott s..

Hey,when you delete an AI Aircraft in FS2004 it seems it's still flying around as a ghost. Because it's still listed in the flightplan FS2004 does not realize it's gone from the harddisk.True ?

Hi,I'd like to see an add-on for FS200x that could read the whole database, and then I could select the departure airport and it would automatically select a destination based on the acft I chose to fly.Besides that it could also give us the number of passengers and cargo for the flight or it would change the acft.cfg itself for that.I know there's one "Random FLight Planner" in the File Library but it seems that it's based in the FS2000's airports.If anyone knows of such program please let me know.SubLogic's ATP Career mode was good enough. It would choose the ARR airport. That's more exciting...like a virtual dispatcher...The program could also read TTools' airports.txt…

Somebody knows how fs2004 load multiple traffic BGL archives? When multiple archives are loaded it assigns gates according to the file where the flight is from, having priority one above others. Is there some priority due to BGLs creation date or loading order, or alphabetic order...?Thanks.

hi all, can anybody help with this one please, i put so many ai aircraft in my 2002 that it came to a halt,so i took a lot out and it ran fine, this was a couple of months ago , since then i have con centrated flying my airliner ,so today i thought i would put some more at other airports but no matter what i did i could not see any planes, i uninstalled and reinstalled 2002, removed the ttools and installed another 1.3.3 version and started with the 36 aircraft in the aircraft txt file ,added my planes as before but nothing appears i don,t see many of microsofts planes either, as far as i know i don,t think i have removed any other files, thanks.

Hi folks,I'm designing some scenery for an airfield that has an apron with stands laid-out in a grid without much 'elbow room'. I've modelled it precisely but found that AI traffic halts on entering/leaving the apron because of the promixity of parked aircraft, is there a way of overriding this somehow.I know I could reduce the aircraft radius artifically but that would affect parking at all the other airports (and would seriously complicate things if I was to upload it anywhere).Is there another way round this (it has only one runway and one main taxiway) so overlays would be a tricky way to go?Cheers for any suggestions/info on this,C.J.

Was the first time in FS2004 at KMIA yesterday to check out the new default scenery. And what did I see there? Three Iberia A320 or A319 parked at the gates.I have the PAI Iberia package, based on the MRAI flightplans installed. Not very realistic IMHO.Wolfgang

I know this is going to sound stupid. But can I make diff. ground frequencies for each overlay. Reason Im asking, is I am running an overlay for KPHL, and ground is very slow in making contact with me when I am using this overlay. I know I can do this, but more specific is it wise? and will FS recognize this? :-doh

Can someone steer me to the fix that was printed about how to fix the PAI aircraft and FP's to hold an altitude?I have installed all PAI self installer airline packages into FS9. All works well but ATC is constantly telling aircraft they are 300 below or above constantly. Is there a fix in the FP's I can initiate to correct this? Or is in in the models or aircraft .cfg's themselves? And if so how to fix?Thanks for any help.Carl

Howdy:perhaps others have noticed this too: the DC-3, when observed in AI mode (Ctrl-Shift-W), has a distinctive sound unlike any other of the AI sounds. Maybe, just maybe, we now have a new shoe-in for additional AI sounds.Since the number of default AI sounds hasn't increased in the FS9/Sound folder (i.e., ai_*.wav and xai_*.wav) I tried to figure out which sound file is being used. My best guess is one of the three .wav files starting with cl* but I could be wrong. Curiously, these files existed in the default FS2002 folder as well but I don't know whether they were used or not.If this isn't just my imagination then the next question is, How are these files triggered? …

There is a new RAFCAD designed for Simflyers KLAX for download in the FS2004 airport & faciliteis data section of the AVSIM library (just have a look on the AVSIM frontpage under "AVSIM file library updates/FS2004 Airport & facilities data").This confuses me, as I thought AFCAD wonn't allready work with FS2004?Wolfgang

Since installing FS2004 and the new TrafficTools for 2004 I seem to have duplicate flights. I am using the flightplans that were used originally in FS2002. Has anyone else had this problem. I have checked through my flightplan.txt and there are no duplicate flights in there.

Hi folks,first of all i have to thank Mr. Lee for his quick and precious work.After that a simple question:do you think is it possible/correct decompile from FS2002 traffic.bgl and immediately recompile in FS2004 traffic030528.bgl?Will i keep all my previous FS2002 traffic (after copied all AI planes in FS2004)?Or perhaps i need some other operation?Simple question, isn't it?thanksLuigi ;-)
