    I just tried to register over at the FS Developer's forum, and apparently it's not working. I filled out the form a bunch of times with no joy. Maybe I'm not holding my mouth right. I didn't see any way to contact anyone and let them know, either.

    Hey folks,A quick question please and maybe this is the wrong forum...What's the difference putting AFCAD files in the FS9/Addon/scenery folder compared to putting them into the FS9/Scenery/World/Scenery folder? I heard AFCAD files won't work if they are in a scenery folder next to a Texture folder containing files? If so, I see texture files in my FS9/Scenery/World/Texture folder. Where's the best place to put my AFCADs?Would this work? Putting them here: FS9/Addon Scenery/AFCADs/Scenery with no texture folder? I just wondered why different designers suggest you put AFCADs in different folders and not just one.Thanks,Greg

    Hi all,Is there a program that is able to identify landclass tiles and give the names of the textures being used ?I tried TmfViewer , but that only give names like Value 76( Crop and Water Mixtures ).What I need is the texture name like 4b2.... etc.Thanks in advance.

    Hello...I am curious. I downloaded an old scenery for CYHZ. There are yellow taxi lines, the ones that lead to the gates. There are also original FS2004 taxiways that are visible. Tarmac looks chaotic. Is it possible to remove one of them?

    Hi all!I just downloaded and installed the LCCT for the ProjectKLIA freeware..One minor issue though.. At the LCCT there are ground vehicles modeled, but these move way too fast.. Is there a way to disable them without disabling the entire scenery? (they are not very detailed and I´d like to get rid of them completely)In the scenery folder of the LCCT addon there are the following files: AF2_WMKK.bgl, LCCTerminal.bgl, LCCTerminal_2.bgl and observation.bglI tried to remove "observation" but that only resulted in a strange visual bug around the entire airport..Any clues?/Johan

    Hello,I was wondering if there is a simple method to import a road network (in ESRI .shp format), into FS9/FSX scenery.Although I'm a FS veteran, the last time I was involved with scenery design was back in the days of FS4, so TBH I got a bit confused after doing a search in the forums for this matter.The idea is that I have a shapefile with all the main Greek roads, (4-5 different road types), so I need to know if there is a simple way to keepe these 4-5 road types distinct, and convert them into one or more bgl files that will cover all of Greece in the FS world.Thanks!

    So I have been struggling to find a good AFCAD of KDAY for FSX. This is my hometown airport and I would really love to see something beyond the FSX default basic. The only file I was able to locate was a poorly done afcad where the airport vehicles are just inside sticking out of the terminals, the gates are off and the jet bridges are stuck in the walls... On top of that if you try anything bigger then a CRJ you crash because the parking spaces are poorly designed.I have tried doing this myself. I struggle getting one parking space complete and thats not even counting if I can get the jet bridge to show up.

    Hi all.I have searched everywhere for an answer to this, and I am stumped. I have tried many times, in many ways, to edit the river textures (FS9) with DXTBmp and Photoshop. But no matter how careful I am in editing; and no matter what format I save the file in - it always shows up in the sim with wide black edges.I know there is no alpha channel in these, it has something to do with using the 0,0,0 black for transparency; but I'm missing something.Anyone have any tips or advise?? Thanks.Ron

    Wondering if anyone may have any insight to why part of this photo tile won't take autogen? I used Autotrees beta to add autogen trees to the entire photoscenery and then I've been opening these in the annotator to add buildings and relocate any trees that didn't wind up in logical places.     sorry for double post, but i think i posted the other one on the wrong place.I installed FSX sdk sp2, and i have 3ds max 2008, so after configuring the sdk paths and getting the aces tools working, i created a simple box on 3ds max, assigned a fsx material, and to the top polygon, i assigned a different material. both materials have bump maps, but when i try to verify my model using aces tools, i get this message:(i already fixed the lod name problem)that happened to me with different machines. i tried everything.if i only apply one material to the object, it works, the problem lies when i assign 2 different materials, for different parts of my object.any ideas what could…

    Hi to all, I am currently working on an Sri Lanka Air Force Package for ACOF and have completed this and have it up an running in FS2004, Flightplans also sorted but I have noticed that the Standard AFCAD's for the Sri Lankan Military Airports which are most of the airports on this lovely island are not well prepared for AI whilst I have done some work on the AFCADS to enable AI to land,Park and take off nicely some require a flatten switch applied to them to remove tree's etc?
