    Hi Folks,do You know the *really* simple Dash-8s from German Airports standing e.g. at EDMA? I am looking for something similar, since I just want to "stuff out" a hangar, much more than the tail won't be seen anyway... Best would be low-poly, single texture file.Anyone knows of a Dash-8 or CRJ like this? Or will I have to spend a weekend building one myself?I know the old jets2.api package by Luis de Sa, but look for regional a/c.Thanks for any help,Torsten

    I am stuck, I can't figure out how to name a material in the new Gmax. I simply want to make a material called:light_strobeSo I can have flashing red lights on a power station chimney. A simple requirement which I have done many times in the past with the old Gmax, I just can't seem to make it happen with the new materials thingy.At the moment the only way is to export the lights from old Gmax 1.1 projects and then import them.What seems to happen is that I get a material called something like:(1):LIGHT_STROBE (Standard) - this does not work.however the imported material (from 1.1) is called:LIFGT_STROBE (Standard) - and this does.I know I am missing something here, but I…

    Anybody know Earthviewer 3d? Using LWMDraw3 I made a complete "redecoration" of short Slovenian coast and I was hoping LandClass will fill up missing polys with land. Unfortunatelly not so I would like to ask You for help.     Happy New Year all....Right then, we have decided to start work on some new animations for our airport. They are not frequency controlled or anything, so they should be quite easy.Firsty, I am certain I can do this in GMAX, but I am wondering if their is any other utilities out there that can make it easier...I have a few vehicles, that I want to take certain paths around the airport.     Need some help here folks, looking for the replacement taxiways and runways that just came out not only a month ago, cant seem to find them and had to reload Flightsim the other day and am looking to put these back on, the runways and taxiways came in one zip file, any help would be great, I have searched Flightsim and here, but I am might not be putting in the right info, thanks again.JB

    My problem is as follows: I used textures 1024x1024 converted to dxt1 and initially all looked OK. However, suddenly some of the users started to have problem with display. The textures were "pinkish" polygons wherever hirez was used. I started playing with FS settings and after switching off "hardware acceleration" box I got what I was looking for . Pink textures all over. The problem though that after switching back to "acceleration on" pink was still there. I could not restore textures untill I resized them to 512x512 and converted them again. That worked. Is there a limit for the textures in FS? And why it worked initially? Ted

    What can cause taxiway sink under the sorrunding terrain? I thought that mesh was the problem, but appears that that was not it.Taxiway connects apron with the runway and is halfway invisible. Ted

    Hi all,I'm using the neat tool LWMDraw and pushed it to the limit. Ken says in the docs that he tried more than 130 points. That works indeed. I've tried 280 and it gave me a runtime error - all the code was gone - oh well:-)Now, question is, how can I put more than one costline into just one source code? It's not a problem to split the project into more than one line. This way I can continue with LWMDraw. But I don't want to have a separate bgl file for each line.I'm not a programmer, maybe this is an easy task but I don't know, where to put the code between the header and the end of the file.Can somebody give a short example please?     Hi guys!I've completed my trees for my upcoming scenery and i'm really excited about the way they have turned out! (NO FRAME HIT SO FAR)BUT...The in the third picture you will notice, i'm having trouble with disappearing textures. I do have the textures set to double sided in GMAX and i'm using a DXT1 Bitmap for the texture. Any ideas of what I can do to get the backface of the polygons to show up? I also want your opinions on the shadows. Should I keep them or get rid of them?-BTW I'm using "PLANES" in Gmax for the branches...Any help would be appreciated!David
