    I have tried alot of different things, and none of them seem to work too well. I want to know how to cut out a winshield in FSDS2. I've seen the window cutting tutorial a hundred times, but it dosen't mention anything about a winshield. I can cut windows fine when it's on the side of the plane, but when it curves around to the front... that's where I get the trouble. How do I cut a window that curves from the side to the front like that???? Thanks!

    Greetings all. My FSDS2 MD-11 is nearing the end of development, but I have a problem which is really frustrating me, and that is the texture mapping. I have tried numerous times to properly texture map this aircraft, but with MS Paint and Imagetool I can only do so much. If anyone can point me to some good image editing software (free please I've already spent lots of money obtaining materials and software to build this plane) or otherwise assist me with this I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for any help you can give me.http://thescorned.homestead.com/fsscr006.jpg

    I am doing a couple of XML gauges that need custom Help IDs, and I was wondering what kind of syntax is required. I've seen it done, and I think I've even done it on accident by myself before. Anyways, would it looks something like this?If someone coulde help me out, that would be great!thanks in advance,Ian Grant

    I've been looking for the logo that's attatched near the front left passanger door on Continental Airlines jets. I think it's a Cordiem logo but I'm not sure and I can't seem to find any close up pictures of a COA jet to see enough detail. Can someone point me in the right direction, I'd be ever so greatful.Pete

    I've never done any editing, so I was wondering if it's a lot of work to merge the DF 737 FMC (or even the 767 PIC FMC) to a 737-200 panel, an MD-80 panel or whatever. If it is, do any of you use a program which is similar to the aeral nav fitted on DC-9s and 737-200s, so I can fly via fixes? I tried the ACS-GPS, but I'm having trouble to get fixes for the whole world. It works great for Scandinavia though.Thanks in adcance,Christian H

    Hello there..I want to build an add-on that requires an overlay window. It will be like a moving map that I'd like to be available from a drop-down menu item rather than as a gauge that needs to be associated with each aircraft. Can somebody provide me with any pointers on doing this? All I need from the simulator is lat-long info in real-time. I've looked through the gauges SDK, but didn't see it.Any and all help greatly appreciated.JM

    I have installed the Dreamfleet Cessna 172P in FS2002 Pro. Everything looks fine, nice panel and flight dynamics, except in the left and the right view the doors are missing. When I open the left door I see a small part of that door just under the wing. Is it possible to solve this problem?

    Reading some complaints about the night lighting of the tail turning on and off with the landing lights on the Ariane BBJ got me thinking about lighting in MSFS. If the lighting is controlled by the alpha channel of the light map, wouldn't it be impossible to turn the tail light on and off separately from the landing lights? I assume this issue would be the same with illumination caused by taxi lights.Is there a way to control these lights separately, in terms of the illumination they produce on the aircraft?Luhiss

    Arne and Etienne, thank you very much for the help.My xpdr now works perfect, with blinking individual numbers and everything!!!But above all, I have learned a lot from this exercise, so it should lead to fewer questions :7(by the way, taking advantage of a quick break in F-1 broadcast to test the gauge and write this. Go Kimi!)

    Hey all.Arne helped me earlier with getting the xpdr code to show. That works fine, and I even defined some MOUSE_CHILD rectangles for me to test and see if I could increase the numbers by clicking on them. Works fine.Now to replicate the operations of this xpdr, I will need to do the following: Right click the mouse in a defined rectangle. That should make only the first number blink. Then with left clicks on the same rectangle that started the blinking, this number should increase.After the number is what you want, right click again, and the second number will now blink, with left clicks increasing it. Another right click and now the third number blinks, you adjus…

    Hey all.I have been coding a transponder, and recently I asked for help on how to make it blink. Arne and Etienne answered me, and this is the current code: FLOAT64 FSAPI xpdr_code_cb (PELEMENT_STRING pelement){ FLOAT64 time=0; BOOL is_masked=FALSE; wsprintf(pelement->string,"%04x",pelement->source_var[0].var_value.d); if(selected_digit>=0) { time=fmod(pelement->source_var[1].var_value.n,BLINK_FREQUENCY); //recalc to something between 0...1 time/=BLINK_FREQUENCY; if(time>0.5) is_masked=TRUE; if(is_masked) pelement->string[selected_digit]=' '; } return pelement->source_var[0].var_value.d;}//--------------------------------------------------…
