Hi!I've made a gauge (XML) for a friend, which beats time for switching the smoke system on or off! Code see below! But with the 'beat-line' the AP makes some problems: You can't enter the VS in 100ft-intervals. The intervals are now 1000ft steps. Why this??? What has a pulse gauge to do with an AP???Regards,Harry :-)(A:AIRSPEED INDICATED,knots) 60 > (A:AIRSPEED INDICATED,knots) 500 < &(A:Turb eng1 afterburner, bool) | (A:Turb eng2 afterburner, bool) | (A:Turb eng3 afterburner, bool) | (A:Turb eng4 afterburner, bool) | if{ (A:ATTITUDE INDICATOR PITCH DEGREES, degree) 2.5 >(A:AIRSPEED INDICATED, knots) 130 > &(A:AIRSPEED INDICATED, knots) 228 <& …

A friend and I are having difficult fitting our own textures into the Airbus A320 addon for FS2002. We can't find a way of making the craft appear in FS, and if we could, we don't know how to give it the title and callsign that we want to give it. Has anyone else tried this and can they tell us how?Much appreciated.

Like many of us I sometimes like to take the passenger seat and look out over the wing and as many aircraft designers put a lot of work into their aircraft it seems a shame to look at an inanimate photograph of a real wing rather than the model, many of which have excellent working flaps etc. I have been playing about with the eye_view in the panel.cfg file to give some good wing views of many aircraft but with some aircraft the wing is not visible at all from an internal view, only from the spot view. Is there a way to show the wings etc. from an internal view or is this something the designer has forbidden? Thanks

Looking for some help from some of the master gauge gurus here. I want to make a digital flap indicator that appears on in windscreen for my landing panel {forward window} and shows current flaps position. Flaps are up,1,5,15,20,25 and 30. I will make it a popup gauge {that I can do!}Also if possible with a blue or green color........Any ideas?Best Wishes, Randy J. Scaling of overall MDL representation, I am having. basic problems with FSDS2 scaling issuesThe problem is very fundamental and potentially serious.Briefly it concerns the size of the compiled MDL.It seems about twice what I expect and this leads to many issues. The first is placement of the static aircraft. As a check I downloaded sample aircraft in both FSDS & complied form.Sure enough it gets much bigger when you compile the MDL with FSDS2.Just loading the and lining up against the background shows this clearly.I don

Hi all,Is anyone interested in helping develop a program to aid in XML code writing?Would anyone even be interested in such a program? The program I have in mind is a program that would serve 2 purposes. The first would be as an aid to programmers when writing code. The other use would be as a learning tool for new programmers.I have included a little figure to show what I had in mind. Basically, you would type your code into a "code" window (using test values for the variables). When running, each click of the "next" button would take you to the next step. The results of each step, and the contents of each stack, would be listed at each step. A click could also bring up a…

Hi guys, its Ben Alfoldi here.Iv been workin on a model for monthes now, the extrior model is finally nearly complete, currently im workin on a full virtual cabin, but iv just ran into a problem.Iv tried cutting all the windows in the vcabin but then had to face the fact that i lost around 25000 polys even when the windows were 4 sided. So i was lookin at the forums, and saw a pic of the wilco 737-700, and if im not mistaking they solved this porbem by not cutting the windows, but instead applying textures that had transparent parts at the window area.So my question is, how do you create textures like that, and how do you save em so they work right? Thanks, all help is appr…

I wonder if anyone could help how to fix speed and fuel consumption on last version from posky B747-4 GE turbine (2002.5.6c). I have checked two planes with this turbine and both can not archieve .85 mach with full fuel load at FL360. Other strange behavior is the N2, all the time red indicating the turbine is working overheating..There is any program to change to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have an object called "lever_speed_brake" that I have animated in GMAX from frame 0-100, but in MSFS, it is either on or off in one frame, with no animation inbetween. Is there a way to control this animation speed in aircraft.cfg so I can get the entire animation? Thanks!Luhiss

Hi, I've just downloaded a nice F104G, but the brakes are very poor. Could anyone tell me how to increase the braking power. I've read one post on the subject, but using FSEDIT, I can't see what to alter. If anyone is kind enough to reply, simple terms please, 'cos I'm sure no expert.Regards, Russell.

Greetings all!I was wondering if there is a tutorial available for using AirEd? I have read the files included with it, but it dosen't answer my questions. I'd like to find out how to change the effectiveness of the elevators, ailerons, and rudder of certain aircraft. I see that you can alter the values in the those fields (pitch, roll, yaw), but I haven't a clue as to which way modify the numbers or by what degree.Any suggestions will be appreciated.Regards,Scott

I use an old FMC gauge by Tom Corson. This gauge tells you various V speeds for a range of jet aircraft dependent on their weight at any time. It has a "copilots " voice which tells you when to set flaps or raise flaps, gear , etc - depending on your phase of flight. It has worked for me very well with a wide range of aircraft - except that now it is acting a bit "confused" when used with the POSKY A330-200. It will command you to raise flaps to a certain position and will continue to nag you to do so until you do as directed. But with this particular aircraft, it just keps on nagging regardless of what I do!Looking at the POSKY aircraft.cfg file , it seems to have an unu…
