Dear Friends, I hope that this is the right place to come, with my problem, even though I am not a designer.I have been having some problems with the way my aircraft, and indeed some of the building display in FS2002. I was wondering if anyone had experienced something similar. and knew how to fix it.The problem is that sometimes, the aircraft look transparent. I will apologize in advance for a simple question, but I am not a panel guru.I am doing some FS2004 mods on the Bae146 panel by Matthew Liebrecht (hope I spelled that right) from his FS2002 version. His "main" panel is broken into two sections, the centerpost with a few overhead switches, and the lower main panel. However the popup overhead panel shows hidden behind the two "main" panel sections rather than overlaying them when it is brought up. I can undock that overhead panel window to bring it on top to gain access to the switches, or I can hide the main panel sections to expose it, but I can't figure out why it won't overlay the 2 main panel windows. I downloaded this panel for the recent 717 offering, and installed it as normal in FS9. Now, for some strange reason, I lost my left side display with my airspeed & artificial horizon. I've also lost some of the switches on the top. Any idea why they won't show up? I'm designing a B733/4/5 panel. For that reason I ask, if there is a gauge around, that allows you to switch between set IAS and set Mach display in the IAS/Mach window of the autopilot. So far I was only able to create a go around by adding an extra Mach window and an extra Mach/hold button like the default FS 2004 737 AP has it (which is not realistic for that type of aircraft). But I would like to be able to set IAS or Mach in one and the same window and to toggle between the two displays by one gauge. And that the AP holds either Mach or IAS, which ever is selected when the Speed button is activated.There are some gauges around, which are visually designed like these…

Hello,I need some help here with contact points. As you miy or may not know LAGO has an ultralights pacakge for FS2002 that has some issues with FS2004. The package contains a paraglider (man wearing parafoil). The problem in FS9 is that the paraglider, when loaded, instead of standing up, flips around in a manner that defies physics. Exacly like the subject line says. Many of my A/C with virtual cockpits seem to have you "in the back seat" when switching to VC mode from panel mode. What do I change in the panel.cfg file to change the starting eyepoint? Or whereever else???ThanksRay

Here is a question for all you aircraft and panel designers from someone who knows virtually nothing about how this is done.For that reason I would really appreciate an answer in simple understandable terms if this is at all possible.My question is --- Why is it that some aircraft are more frame rate friendly than others- notwithstanding any scenery settings?I have found that I have various addon aircraft that will ,in exactly the same circumstances ,give widely differing frame rates.The strange thing is ,that often ,the better looking models(more detail) seem to be less damaging in terms of fps.Being more or less ignorant of how this all works I would have expected th…

Easy that is if you can create simple web pages.We all know of the of the use of htm for the checklist items. What I overlooked was the ability to link many pages together.Here is an example.Kneeboard F10 to the checklist page. On this page you ONLY PLACE LINKS to the various checklists. Takeoff ... Climb .... Cruise ... Descent .. SecureEach of the above links (and all the others that are needed)have their very own htm. Why? Because by using unique pages, each page can load a wav file and play it. Plus when you RETURN to the parent page, the wav file stops playing. Hello, I am interested in putting together a project for flight simulator that would start with a free file package for Flight Simulator that uses the Project Open Sky CRJ in various Delta connection colors/liveries. Hi,I have noticed that with some 3rd party panels for FS9 that the auto pilot functions only advance in increments of 10, not 1. Is there a new fsuipc.dll file that will fix this problem? Or, can this problem be fixed in other ways. Thanks,Tom

Hi,Using gmax anew with FS9, I have the same problem as at first some year(s) ago and forgot the remedy.The HELP says select from File of Type, but it only shows PLASMA(*.P3D)and All. (no File of Type question box as mentioned.)It may have to do with the games pack? I loaded gmax from the FS9 #1 CD and installed it in c:gmaxDo I have to download something from somewhere or is there another way?Please help.
