Thanks to all the talented people who frequent this forum and their tools to create A-1 traffic, I can now go to any airport that supports traffic and have from 13 to 25 aircraft parked and ready to go. Even at autogen set at normal it is a race to get to the active runway or face a long line of aircraft waiting to take off.This picture was at Denver Intl and landings were just as busy. HelloIs it possible to listen to music (.mp3s, wavs) during FS2k2 and still be able to hear all the engine sounds, ATC?? Do I need a special programm to do this??

Just a fair warning and an example of why it's hilarious that anyone would criticize FSD...I paid $30 for this piece of crap that lies all over the box about being an FS2002 addon. Actually, it's not. It's a repackage of some crappy panels that belong in Fs98. Is this opinion? No. We all know that certain values were reassigned in fs2002. This is why in Warbirds Extreme, buttons like "Smoke" and "Avionics" do not work whatsoever.Sure, the visual models are nice and the Flight Dynamics are occasionally excellent, but...In the F15, the above mentioned switches don't work, the view from the VC shows part of a wing, a bit of rudder, lots of blank space in between. Using AFCAD I have added tower and ground frequencies to a small airport as well as some additional small GA parking. Then using ttools I created some A-1 flights from this airport. I have added this airport to the airport base in ttools, but I can't get any GA aircraft to land or take off from this airport. My question is, do I need to place an ILS on this airport's runway in order to get A-1 aircraft to use it?Any help appreciated.

I just reinstalled windows xp,and still have FS2002 on my E partition. I backed up the following directories to another hd: aircraftGauges Modules Scenery textures Sounds.My question, what Is the easist way to get FS2002 back up and running, and avoid conflicts with my 767pic and other addons? Install it over the directory that is currently on E? Just run FS2002.exe and it will run?Suggestions?

I fly mostly around New England, especially now that I have some halfway decent meshes installed. I would be really interested in seeing a landclass for the New England states, including the New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC corridor. Does anyone know of any existing landclass files for this area? If not maybe one of you LC gurus could whip one up for us Yankees? Thnks.Hornit

If you slip away from the cockpit for too long and don't answer ATC you find yourself with a cancelled IFR flight plan - no fun! Is there a copilot add-on who can handle the radio for you while you're visiting with the stewardesses? Sure would be handy for those long flights!CR

Take a look at the pic below, I have a merry little fire going in the nose wheel gear complete with smoke! This first happened a couple of weeks ago but it seems to be getting more regular with the default 737. I have also had a fire in #2 engine so I had to shut it down. I didn't know this level of detail was in FS2002. Anyone know how to turn it off or should I go back to flight school.

I have noticed at various US airports that I am getting another layer of scenery coming thru the gate areas where it should be cement I see another texture. As I roll along it seems to chase me !!! I have noticed this at KCVG and KRNO . Can anyone help me out and tell me of a fix. Thanks

Good evening all,For the past week, I have been flying the King Air 350. I have noticed a peculiarity at cruising altitude. Despite full throttle, props, and mixture, I can only attain a maximum IAS of 260 knots, and the indicated speed on the cockpit flight panel is 220 knots (sorry about the terminology, I have forgotten what the correct term is here). This is true with half full (to almost empty) fuel tanks. And in case your wondering, flaps and landing gear are up. My CH yoke (USB) has been calibrated with the latest version of FSUIPC, and the throttle quadrant matches the throttle control on the yoke, so I am applying full power. Adding European liveried B737-400s today. Got to texture 24, 25, and 26. When the sim loads and I go to the aircraft selection pull down for Boeing 737-400, these last 3 textures are listed as "Default."HHmmm. Checked .cfg files for discrepencies or flaws. All looked identical to the first 23 except for the usual changes one makes to add another texture. I've rechecked again.SAS, Lauda and KLM are not listed in the variation pulldown. There's 3 consecutive "Default" variations listed, of which these 3 liveries are displayed.So where the heck is this "Default" coming from? Checked texture folder for anomolies like a tag line.
