Man, why can't the default ones in FS2002 look like that. Looks like there 'true' volumetric type clouds.

Hey Everyone, Quick Question:I remeber reading a post that told us where we could download replacement ATC .wav files to add to our FS 2002 SOUND File to get ATC to say "Southwest" (which for some reason or another was overlooked by microsoft). Can anyone tell me how I increase the amount of AI traffic at larger airports? I've seen people mention that they've done this but I don't know what they used, or how they do it.Thanks.Bezza.

Recently, I started spending a little flying time in Austria, and I've noticed that when I do a database lookup with the RealityXP GPS, that I have two of each VOR. I'm sure this is a scenery issue, as I have many scenery addons for the area, my question is, How do I track down and fix the problem? Is it possible to have overlapping scenery for a given area each with the same Navaids?

Has anyone who owns the previous version of RealityXP's Flight Line product upgraded to the new version? If so, were you able to install as an upgrade or a new product? Did it cost to install the new version?Thanks,

Hi, I'm new here as of today and pretty new to FS2002 but trying to get smart in a hurry-but mostly blundering ahead. I'm trying to use FS2002 (with the Sidewinder ForceFB stick) to practice landing in crosswinds to help me with my real world landings which aren't going too well yet.I have turned on the wind in the weather but it doesn't seem to have any effect, even when set 90 degrees across the runway and at its strongest. Am I doing something wrong here? There was a reference in a thread on CH Pedals to FSMeteo. Is that an add-on, do I need it (and how do I get it, if I need it)?I've been looking for rudder pedals cause the twist grip rudder on the stick is very unna…

I've tried running two monitors on FS, but I can only use the "undock window"- option, which runs fine, but is there a way to split the mainscreen itself onto the two monitors?(Like having the FO-view on the right)I mean, in the fashion shown with the new tri-view Matrox card?Joakim

Hello fellow simmers two things:1. Amazing work of taxiwaysigns, the signs completely change the atmosphere of the airports, I DL KLAX (a place I have never been before) and without taxing directions I was able to taxi all the way from the gate to the active, make a couple of traffic pattern flights and come back to parking!!I would like to see all Airports with such great improvements, but I know that until next version of the Sim the only possibility is fly into those great airports that have been enhanced.2. For some reason the waves on water all around the world have turned to ugly square blocks in fs2002. This just recently happened and I've never had this problem before. I rebooted and problem still there. Any clues?

Hi folks,Anyone else having a problem with FSMETEO today. It has been crashing during the stage where it is processing winds. When it does not crash the attached screen shot shows the strange data for the winds aloft.I'd like to know if this is a problem with my setup or with the data on the server.Any help would be appreciated.- Murf

Hi All I recently upgraded to a P4 2.2GHZ with 512 DDR and a visiontek Geforce 4 MX440. (a Best Buy VPR Matrix system)It all runs WinXP the thing shipped with NVIDIA 2742 video drivers but they dont seem to do justice with the reflection effects but they are rock solid no lockups at all.What drivers are you with similar system have good results withI am looking for stability first then visual quality/speed. thanksStan

HiA few weeks ago all of a sudden the course selection on the default 737 only goes up/down in 10s. I cannot set a course of 13, only 10 or 20. Can someone please tell me how to fix it? I am trying to fly a Fokker 50 (f50noapu.zip) with Espen Oijordsbakken's fantastic panel (ef50v21b.zip) with the following result: The plane doesn't want to leave the ground. If I adjust the trim to where it does, it then wants to climb straight up and stalls. I am using a MS Force Feedback 2 joystick. Is there something I can do with the aircraft.cfg file to correct this or is that not the place? Or is it something else? Thanks in advance for your help!Ron

Hi, another newbie question. Living in Manchester, I (obviously) fly out of Manchester airport in FS2002. However, I was/am a bit disappointed in the fact that I never seem to get instructions for the second runway there. Also at all other airports I always seem to get landing/takeoff clearance for the same runways.Is there a way to get the AI use other runways? If so, what do I need and how do I go about it.Thanks.

On a trip to London a months ago, I noticed a few minutesout on the Victoria line, a large derelict power station,with four chimneys. Seemed to be out the left window.What is the name of this power station?I notice with FS2002, approaching 27L Heathrow, I see a largepower station. Hi Gang,I'm looking for a specific kind of airport to fly from. It has to have the following things about it (don't ask me why, it just does)...Has to be in USA or Canada. Has to have a tower. Has to be used for both commercial and GA flights and be quite busy. Has to have fairly short runways (4000ft or less).Let me know if you know of any that fit this description.

I am now installed. Some operations seem pretty much okay. But:I am still getting an awful lot of : unknown or can't find scenery directory. Non Existent directory it says. Shows garbage after MSFS2002 directory. Can some one post the PATH the sim used to load up all scenerly tiles. I see plain vanilla scenery. I put all sliders to full up. I get this message can't read: c:program filesMicrosoft GamesMSFS2002gpy=? (This is ont exact, but similiar).I get this on all attempts to load new scenery. All my scenery is plain flat, green, brown, or black tiles, and black water for the flying boats.I sure would like to know how to trouble shoot this. Any ideas?

Okay, I have been on a real nostalgia kick what with all the Bill Lyons planes, the fantastic DH2 Tiger Moth (absolutely gorgeous), the Stearman and on and on. I got to thinking that there may be a real market for 1930's-40's package which would retro FS2k2 to the Golden era of aviation. Instead of an add on, a subtractor package that would eliminate all the modern airports and reduce the number of airports and replace with that era's airfields, buildings, signs, etc.This would allow you to have two installations of FS2k2, one as it is, and one retro.
