This was the last content before Posky stated to `wipe' my posts..
Wing twist
Personally I think the wing angles are backwards. The Wing incidence is normally POSITIVE and the tips twist DOWN or NEGATIVE.http://www.edwinn.com/flightsim/wing_twist.pngUse settings such as thesewing_incidence = 1.251wing_twist = -1.50wing_incidence = 1.00wing_twist = -1.250wing_incidence = 1.00wing_twist = -1.000p.s. sender agrees that wing incidence and wing twist effect cruise pitch, but the cruise lift scalar and apex_lon should be used to tune for pitch angle, not wing twist..!!

Question 1When you have an airport with overlays, how do you make the aircraft call all the layers by airport name. Example: I have ATL overlays when aircraft are leaving, say, La Guardia normally they request IFR clearance to Atlanta. But If they are headed to my base, they call it 1ATL(1 Alpha Tango Lima). Does anyone know how to make them say Atlanta reguardless of which destination the have?Question 2How do I assign names to frequencies?Example: At DFW my aircraft say stuff like "Ground", or "Tower" when I wanna make then say "DFW Ground" or "Dallas Ground" (I know the word Dallas is in FS2002 because the say it at Dallas Love. I just don't know how to make them say t…

I have a 19" Sony Trinitron located about 2.5 feet from a Samsung monitior. If I turn the TV on while the monitor is running, I get a "degaussing" effect whereby the monitor image shakes for an instant. I also notice minimal "waves" on monitor with TV on. Does having the tv in such location hurt my monitor? Any shielding material available (I'd rather not move the TV as I use it sometimes for panels. Thanks

This has rapidly become one of my absolute favorite airplanes and I was delighted to see it garner the type of review often reserved for commercial releases. This kind of work deserves this sort of recognition. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than running shuttle routes throughout the Rocky Mountain west and Pacific Northwest in this airplane. It is such a pleasure to fly and a real blast to land on short strips. Thanks again. Colin

jerrycwo4I see by a post that you are using the weather program, "Weather Center Expert 1.1". I to am using this program but when I tried to install the "patch" it messed the whole program up (?) so I uninstalled everything and ONLY re-installed the main program and NOT the patch. Every things seems to work OK WITHOUT the patch.Do you know what the patch is supposed to fix?Would you be MORE specific than the instructions on just how you installed the patch? Where you you put what etc.Do you know if this Weather Center Expert will work with the other, weather program, "FS Sky World SE."Thanks for you help.jerry

[/p]
CRJ-200 Flight Tests - Report
prepared by: Gregory Abbey 11-13-02 [/p] [/p] [/p] Thanks to everyone for the `real world' inputs. This jet is especially fun to sim-fly once you get it to behave [to your liking].. or should I say.. like it should..!! The nose tilts DOWN wh…

For those who have downloaded the Meljet series of 747 aircraft, Ihave the Union Flag and Cargo versions of British Airways, can youadvise if you have the same problems as I do, namely,The 747 does not slow on descent even with only a descent rate of1500. secondly the wing views are not connected to the main bodyof the aircraft and are `floating` in the air apart from the body. Please advise if yo uhave found these problems and if you haveresolved them.thanksJohn

Hi,I know that this is totally off-subject but I thought that I could get some advice and guidance.I am contemplating the eventual purchase of a LED flashlight.I generally don't fly at night so night vision is not an issue. There are many models to choose from, all claiming to be the best on the market...I'd like your opinions if you've had any experience with LED flashlights.ThanksTwister

In another post that was locked a discussion was brought up about the use of Airiane textures with a Dreemfleet panel and an apparent logo that shows Dreamfleets endorsement. After pondering this thought for a while one thing I cant figure out....Why would someone pay $29.95 for DF 737-400 then go over to Tishmas site and pay again for more textures when DFleet host about 260+ textures for free on their DF site. I know that Tishma produced a 737-300 for a while but their is no real notiable difference between a 300 and 400 model. Tishma offers nothing better than DREAMFLEET.Yes I to believe that the DF/Airane thing was just for FS2000 I dont believe that Lou and Tom wou…

I haven't visited Madeira since the days of FS2000, so I thought it was high time I flew there again with FS2002. Madeira has always been, IMHO, one of the most challenging approaches, right up their was the infamous IGS approach at Kai Tak,After a brief search I found some suitable scenery for Madeira - lpmd10.zip by Claus-Peter Sassen and some Gaia mesh for Madeira cb_ma.zip - both available at FS.comIt turned out to be one of the most enjoyable flights I have made in a long time. I flew the DF 737 from Gatwick to Madeira, taking off very near to MTOW for the 1,338 NM trip. The flight plan I used was: EGKK SAM2M.SAM UN866 KORUL R1 KORAV STG UN741 LIDRO PST FUN LPMAI took…
