Hi all! I need some help here. I am looking for FREEWARE mesh for France. I downloaded some the other day, but noticed the Northern coast is not as it should be. There are MANY verticle cliffs along the Normandy coats, and the mesh fails to do that. I added in a "cliff add" that I found, but it too fails to make the cliffs in the right places.I am also looking for FREEWARE Landclass. Again, I am more interested in the Northern part of France, but will gladly take it if it is the entire country! LOL! Thanks for any help folks.Don

... especially anything from this list: Hawker Hurricane Mk IIASupermarine Spitfire LF Mk XVINorth American P51D MustangNorth American Mk III Harvard... which are the aircraft of the NZ Fight Pilots Museum (www.nzfpm.co.nz)Not just a CFS port, but with a great 3D cockpit, nice shiny textures etc. Payware is ok. I know there's not much hope of finding the museum's Polikarpovs, but is anyone know of one in production?Visit the Windowlight forum on Avsim... everything you need to know about New Zealand flightsim sceneryhttp://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...forum=203&page=

Hi,Have you ever lost your afterburner effects and couldn't work out why? This happened to me recently with Kirk's Viper and DSB's Typhoon. All seemed well and unchanged with the installations and yet no afterburner effects!Eventually I narrowed it down to the throttle control and this jogged the memory of a recent visit to 'HoverSafe Academy' http://members.shaw.ca/hoversafe/Hoversafe.htm as part of my attempts to learn how to fly helis. This site recommended that you set your controller sensitivities at maximum for elevator & aileron and 75% for rudder and throttle. You should also set ALL null zones to zero. These settings apply equally to FS98, FS2000,FS2002 and F…

I seem to be flying little else these days. Superb!Despite its complexity, it has very little impact on resources. It uses Dierct X for sound (not the simulator) thus releasing resources for use in the sim. All systems are represented including a great FMS.Also has working weather radar, TCAS, etc. etc.If you haven't tried it yet, give it a go. Incredibly, it is FREE!http://fandafans.fscentre.com/

Hi everybody! I have a problem with my FS clock. The area of my residence in Germany is GMT+1, as it is set in my PC system calendar and clock. But the two FS clocks are 2 hours apart, in EDDF for example the GMT is always +2h. I've tried FS RealTime, but

I recently built a new rig, and along with it reinstalled my XP Pro. Unfortunatly I lost all my favourites I built up over the years, as far as Flight Sim related sites, for downlaods, information, research and so on.I would like to ask for a big favour from you guys. Help me rebuild my favourites list. If you have list of sites, or a favourite site you can share with me I would very much appreciate it.Thanks for the help!! http://www.forefrontgrp.com/jayssigsmall.jpg"There is an art . . . to flying. 9. I have two types of DC-10-30 in FS9 - the older FFX/SGA version (ffxsgadc10) and the updated/newer SGA (sga dc10) version. The newer version (sga dc10) flies superbly but the older FFX/SGA one is a mess and it makes me wonder if it is supposed to be flyable in FS9. The N1 is wrong, I can't reduce N1 below 68% at cruise and thus the Mach speed is not reducable either since the N1 modeling is not correct, the pitch is wrong, and so on. I know how to correct all these things, but before I go further I wanted to post and ask if this a/c is even supposed to be flyable within FS9. (Perhaps I missed a fix for Fs9 or whatever...?)Posts appreciated, thanks!JS

Hi everyone: I very recently decided to use a router rather than a hub for multiple computer connections to the Internet. Everything has worked out fine ... except that I can no longer multi-play in FS 2002 via the Internet. Since everything was "AOK" using the hub but is now "NOK" (that is, "Nothing OK")I can only assume that, somehow, Microsoft's multi-player function in FS 2002 (and perhaps other versions as well) just does not think much of routers. Is there any way around this condition ... or will I have to reinstall my hub if I want to multi-play on the Internet? Any advice will be very much appreciated. In addition to a forum response (which I might…

Imagine my surprise or perhaps ignorance. I just re-installed Windows Home XP, my prior install lasting approx. 14 months, and did not have to call in the activation to a Microsoft telephone operator which I have had to do a number of times before in the past several years of numerous re-installations of the same copy of Windows XP Home. Mind you, the ONLY reason I have ever had to reinstall Windows XP Home is due to a Harddrive/CPU upgrades AND because "any" Windows OS + Microsoft FlightSim. = eventual code degradation of the OS (at least, IMHO, that is what happens when these two interact), hence periodic activation without hardware changes. How Microsoft decides when…

With the latest FDE and MDL updates to the A320's, I'm sure I've messed something up . When I reach my cruising altitude (on autopilot), my planes start to 'rock' back and forth about a degree or two, but still maintaining their altitude. I'm using Eric's panel, and first thought that was the cause. I alias that same panel for my A321's, and they fly straight as an arrow.Any ideas what might be messed up in my aircraft's cfg file? And a question of opinion - how may of you are running the latest 9.0 FDE update, compared to using the last of the 8.x version? Thanks in advance.Scott

Hi, folks:This is really non-FS but I know there are many WINDOWS XP Home Ed experts out there, so here goes:Last year, Windows Messenger drove me mad, popping up every few minutes. It even appeared while I was simming. So, I disabled it. I later installed MSN Messenger 6.1I now get frequent crashes, freezes and hangs with OE 6.0 and also with IE 6.0 under Windows XP Home Ed. When turning the PC off, I often get a message on the desktop that MessageApp is not responding and is being closed down.I recently re-enabled Windows Messenger because I'd read on a forum I surfed over to randomly that disabling it caused OE to hang sometimes. But the popups are back. This must …

Hello, I have noticed two Network Connection icons in my Windowx XP Home Edition Control panel. I have tried to right on both of them to see if I can remove/delete but to no avail. Also, I am sure they are not a shortcut of the other (if you know what I mean). I don't know if this is the reason why I am having trouble to connect to online to check for weather in FS2004.These icons are exactly the same and they point to the same connection, I am a Road Runner subscriber and went online to check for solution but they don't have a clue how to solve this problem for me. They have suggeted me to contact MS...Can you please help...Juliet Lima

Downloaded this micro(ultra)light yesterday, as I may shortly be trying out the real thing. Excellent model, although a little heavy on the frames (as the author mentions in the readme). The problem I get is with replays. I might have a perfectly smooth flight, but when I play the replay, the aircraft is jumping up and down. I know this doesn't affect flying the aircraft, but wondered if anyone else had similar, or if anyone knows of a solution. I don't recall seeing this with any of my (many) other aircraft.Thanks,Boogie.

  21. What is the correct pitch angle at cruise? I cruise typically in my DC10-30s at M.82 or .83. Right now, I am 440K lbs, at FL350, at M0.82 and my pitch is 3.5 deg; at M.83, pitch is slightly less, but still a tad above 3 deg on the AI. At rather lower weights at this FL, my pitch has been down to 2.5 deg.Is this about right ?Appreciate posts, thanks!JS
