Does anybody know if there is a freeware or payware scenery of Mexico City Airport MMMX?ThanksAndrew

If you have one photoscenery over an area and one landclass and one mesh scenery over the same area. What order or priority should they have in the scenery.cfg to avoid conflicts with other scenerys.I think its first the scenery as number 1 and second the landclass as number 2 and finally the mesh as number 3. Is it right?Thomas BESNN

I was wondering if someone could give me the name of the airport for the Freanch Riveare (Spelling?) or the Monaco Grand prix area? I have been looking all over in MSFS and can't seem to find anything. I was wondering what the scenery looks like there? Probably nothing but thought it might be fun.Thanks,Eric

When I mix the SGA A300 and Benoit Gaurant's panel, I can no longer get any lights beyond the ventral strobe. Whenever I hit L, the lights flash until I let go. Holding down L turns them all into strobes, all rapidly flashing on and off...How can I fix this? The buttons in the panel seem to be useless.

Anyone know the problem/solution?During the commercial checkride in MSFS2004 at the point after I climb to 6500 and I should be instructed to fly to Harvey, the instructor reverts back to the gear-down decent instruction. If I follow the instructions and do another gear-down decent the instructor will tell me to maintain 3500 and 140kts, then fly to Harvey. Getting close to harvey I'll be instructed to do a high-speed decent, but I'm flying dirty! (gear down) Eventually it will fail me.If I ignore the gear-down instruction, and fly to harvey, well, it's screwed up.Anyone have the same problem?????Ben

One more question.Everytime a start FS it seems to have forgotten my settings. It's always back in 800*600, the assignments are back to default och so on. Does anybody have any idea on why this happens and what I can do about it?Have a nice one!/ HiScore

Hi all, I have just gone back to flying FS2002 from FS2004. I played with 2004 since it came out. The one feature I loved about FS2004 is when I lower or raise my eypoint view, it would stay that way after I choose other views. I know I can change the eyeoint in the panel.cfg files but I do not want to make it permanent. I have one of the 2-way switches on my CH Yoke to move the "seat" up or down. Any ideas? well it says its largly over loaded, so i tried to adjust the payload, it just causes flight sim to lock upanyone know why?

I have Ultimate Traffic and other FS2002 add-on installed and I'm not shure what happend but at KORD I now only have two runways listed in FS2002 the active runway and 32R. I do have a lot of gates and parking area listed but only the active and 32R are listed.I don't know if Ultimate Traffic did this or some other add-on that I have installed removed the other runways at O'hare.I would think that the other runways at O'hare should be listed in FS2002 ?Thanks for any ideas or help you can give me getting the other runways listed again.Scott

I love the GPS in FS9. Unfortunately for some airports I love to fly in not many procedures are available in the GPS. I understand that it is impossible for MS to have every SID, STAR, approach etc. for every little airport. Therefore I would like to add procedures to the GPS database manually. What I mean is not to create certain procedures waypoint by waypoint in the flightplan, but to have them ready by name when entering the PROC page.Does anybody have an idea in which files of FS9 the procedures are stored? Yesterday, because of the announcement on the front page of AVSIM regarding the "lite" version of FSHotseat, I decided to download the demo version. I've used it in the Chicago area where it works, and thd "jury is still out" on whether I should get the full version. How many of you use this program and like it, and what does it REALLY do for your simming experience. To what degree does it add some immersion into the hobby. If I get very positive responses from many of you, I'll buy it. But I'd love to hear your opinions of the program (or something better, if you use something else). Thanks, Stan

I've tried "new_waves" but that didn't seem to do it. Also the water colors were much more subdued that the default. I know I had "r_water0" but think there was something else. I have seen glowing reviews on this product as one ahead of it's time. It seems someone has gotten their hands on a quantity of them and are selling them at the closeout price of $20.00 per.Now as attractive as that sounds, I have a hard enough time convincing my wife I am the "man" (not boy) of the house when I bring out my Joystick/Throttle Combo to fly virtual flights in Hawaii.If I brought home this little cousin of a flak jacket and slipped that on, my wife wouldn't stop laughing for a week.I like my flight sims, but I have to think what I look like at the computer, and I don't care how "good" the immersion is, I just can't see myself wearing a thumping flak jacket …

has anyone else experienced a loud persistent thump thump sound after flying helicopters or even sometimes props around for a while in fs? the sound continues even after exiting the flight and switching aircraft. i assure u it's very annoying. is there a solution?andre

Two Actually.In keeping with the water theme of my last Needles post, I am going to start off this needles post with a plug for OceanFX.Not exactly a needle OceanFX provides some of the most realistic textures I have seen for water. When coupled with Bill Lyons stunning wave FX, the appearance of the water can be breathtaking.I personally don't use Bills wonderful FX, as they tax my FX5200 Nvidia card to the tune of about 10FPS, but rather use the classic FS2002 textures located in the library, (the previous subject of my last needles thread (classic_water_texture.zip)). That way I still get some nice reflections and still don't pay the premium for the wave motion.Ocean…
