Hi All,I have done a search around the usual sites, but have not come up with anything.Does anyone know if there is any Mauritius Int airport scenery (FIMP) available?CheersDan.

I'm using mostly the VC views now... unfortunately, I can really only run in 800x600 so the readability of the VC instruments and numbers suffers.I'd love to see a utility that magnifies whichever instrument you mouse over, or perhaps acts as a magnifying glass centered on your mouse...As it stands, I usually go for the 75% zoom level, but my instruments are really only clean when zoomed in a bit.Just saying!Andrew

Could anyone tell me why this annoying thing happens please. I go to an airport, in this last case Grazzanise AB. There is a tower. I see it on the map, and get a good view of the runway from tower view ( it also happens ot other airports) After a few touch and go's, I shut down for a snack of pork pie,pickled onions and a glass of red wine. When I restart, the tower is gone. It's not on the map and the tower view is from God knows where.Now, if it's the porkpie,OK. The red wine I can live without, but please don't tell me it's the pickled onions 'cos they are just too sweet to live without. Seriously tho', anyone know what causes this ?Russell.

Hi,I find that runway 19 (108.50) is totally out of line, have anyof you found this too and if so has there been a correction thatI have missed. I would appreciate an indication if others havealso got this fault unless there is something wrong with my FS9system. Please confirm and advise if possible.Thank youJohn

Hi Simmers,I've got a problem.I installed my FS9 several times (and deleted ALL files after deinstalling), but when I start a flight, there is always the error "Scenery read error: Attempting to open a nonexistent directory: . Is there a way you can fly off these in FS? Lately, in FS9, i've been flying the amazing Carenado Mentor VOR-VOR (looking on FS's map trying to find places to go). I was wondering if you can fly off NDB's also?

Hi - My default road draw distance isn't too impressive, but then I have an older video card. I don't know if that matters - Anyway, I'm wondering if the USA Roads will essentially "blur out" like the default roads do, and if a newer video card might help.I'm planning on getting one anyway..Thanks,Andrew

Hello Friends,I am flying the FS2004 default C182S and the max speed I can fly is 105 Kts (IAS)at 10,000 feet. The ac is (I think) properly configured as follows:Prop 2400 RPMMan Press: 20"Fiel Flow: 11 G/hFlaps up.Weather: clear skies and no winds.Can anybody explain why can't I reach at least 135 or 140 kts as this bird should be flying?Am I doing something wrong?Please advice.Juliet Lima

That pretty much sums up what I'm looking for. A FSUIPC/WideFS GPS unit that can be used on my second PC. Even something like FS Navigator would work for my needs. Is there such a thing?

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to stop the MSG button on the default FS9 Garmin GPS 500 from blinking almost constantly? The only message it ever gives is either you are already in, or about to be in, "airspace". As aircraft operating under instrument flight rules (IFR) are almost always in controlled airspace, I find this "feature" to be useless and annoying. I certainly would appreciate having a way to turn it off.

Just installed the new terrain mesh for Australia by Andy Weir and thought I would try it out by taking a flight over the Snowy Mountains in winter. While the terrain profile is now much closer to reality, Mt Kosciusko, Lady Northcote's Canyon and Watson's Crags can all be identified, but to my surprise no snow - this area is metres under snow in July and August. The popularity of a recent upload to the File Library, almost 1500 downloads in two days - and no Forum posts about it, suggests that it is time for a brief note about mesh quality and use. The mesh in question was constructed from SRTM 3 arcsec (90m) source data using an LOD of 9, giving a final mesh resolution of 76.4m.There are two issues of primary concern here:1) Users - Mesh precedence determines which mesh you see in the simulator. Flight Simulator handles mesh differently from other scenery, and FS2002 and FS2004 each handle mesh precedence differently as well. Hi everyone Have downloaded the dreamwings erj 170,145 and 135 and love the aircraft apart that at around 24500' with the autopilot engaged in the heading mode while climbing I lose the directional control of the aircraft( when trying to change course the aircraft refuses to obey the turn command). I am using fs 2002 and the Bill Grabowski panel.Can anyone please help as i love the aircraft but am unable to climb above 24500'.Many thanksRottnest

I and many other flight simmers have been waiting a long time for this series aircraft to be released.. It looks great! If somebody from dreamwings is reading this, can you get a ExpressJet paint out there! that would look great on the 145XR and the 135. I've tried everything imaginable to fly the default FS2004 Piper Cub. I've simply come to the conclusion that it has inherent flight dynamics flaws that good ol Microsoft is famous for. I do realize that taildraggers are inherently unstable on the ground and that the center of gravity is displaced behind the main wheels, ect but it's ridiculous with the default cub model (over-exaggerated).How does the Realair Decathalon compare? Is it flyable with proper pilot technique? I'm looking for some sim taildragger experience as realistic as possible and I'm convinced Microsoft has screwed it up as usual with their flight dynamics. I've been off here for a while. Is there any improvement for the flight instruments yet available for FS2004 making them more fluid? I use it only for instrument training. They're so jerky that they are almost useless. I did download the B737 improved AI and it's great. Just wondering if the rest have any improvments out there that I'm not aware of? Thanks...Roger

First off I have a minimal system so I can't afford to tie up my processor with things like better mesh. The first best inprovement would seem to be landclass. From what I am reading it looks like FSGenesis might be the best (accuracy) as far as the US is concerned. For the rest of the world would MYWorld be a good choice? Would it be feasable to install MYWorld at a lower priority lever and FSGenesis higher so it would override when flying in the US but be available otherwise? What would you do? (Don't tell me to upgrade my system - that's not an option.) I just want more visual accuracy. Would all the freeware landclass uploads here be more accurate in the long run sinc…
