Huh!Guess I'm not doing my homework...

There used to be a website that planned your route for you, with SID & STARs. If I remember right, they where pretty accurate. Then you could download the generated plan and import it into FS2002. Does that website or any like it still exist? If so, can someone point me in the right direction for FS9.Thanks,BB

Hi. I have managed to get that 2nd engine started but am stuck on the intruductory flight. On the takeoff section in the manual it says....'Check the settings on MCP. The speed should be set to v2 + 10kts. HDG should be 237 and ALT set to 10000.'first question.Do i have to get in touch with ATC via the ' key and number commands? If so where do i go? East, West, Depart straight out, Remain in pattern?2nd question.Do i have to punch the headings, altitude etc for takeoff into the MCP like i would if i werent using the mod? And where would i find or how would i set speed v2 + 10 kts.Sorry guys but this is all new to me and im just learning the ropes.Regards,Chris

Hello guys,How unfortunate i start posting on Avsim forums with a problem...but im getting quite tired of it and i cant get it sorted without help.What do i get:A standard error window from FS9 notifying me that it encountered an error and needs to close. The module the message points to is terrain.dll. Sometimes i get the "Report this error" window and sometimes not.When it started:I installed the fokker 50 panel a while ago and all hell broke loose. I knew it had problems but i tried to get them fixed applying all the fixes listed on the fokker50.com. Apparetlly they dindt work and FS9 kept kicking me back to desktop with the usual "terrain.dll" error.I stoped using F50…

Hi !I already have this info (minimal runway length required for landing ) for the defaults aircrafts of FS 2004 but I can't find any of this info for aircrafts such as the Airbus for example.Of course I did some research on the Internet but came up with nothing about that particular information.Thanks for any help,Marc Renaud

Looks to be quite nice from the screenshots. Previous customers get a nice discount and I think I'm gonna have to take advantage of that. ;) From what I have seen with their KPHX, their v2 sceneries should be rather nice, and a touch lighter on the frames.http://www.simflyers.net/

Hi,I am using TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21in my FS9.cfg but now the river beds are unrealistic deep and steep, especialy in flat countries. Is there a parameter I can set to flatten the beds ?Thanks in advance,Hugo

Hello Gang!As you can see in my attached screenshot, I am experiencing a peculiar problem with my KOKC airport. This is the default airport, with no sceneries added. I am using the USA terrain mesh files from an author that released the entire USA but the files were taken out of AVSIM for some reason (forgot the author's name, along with USA Roads. I have utilized two different AFCAD files available for this airport, one in Flightsim.com and another from PAI and both show the same problem. Please let me know your thoughts. Typical story.Worked fine last night. Installed Flight One Softwares "Roads" today. I get to the main screen , select a flight, starts to load it up, and then crashes to Windows XP desktop, with an error in FS9.exeAny way to fix this? I don't even think this ROADS software has an uninstall feature (one reason why I like Xplane, these issues rarely rarely occur) sigh.........

Hi,Im relatively new to flight sims and have just bought a copy of the PMDG 737-600/700 add on for fs2002 and for me it is very complicated.my problem is i cant start the right engine (i.e when i look at the right side engine its not spinning like it should) but the right engine starts up fine.im doing everything the manual tells me to and in the right order.Can somebody lend me their assistance with this one please cos im really bemused.I also dont understand this part in the manual where it says....In the Throttle-Panel "Observe the RPM. At 20% N2 open up the Cutoff-Lever for the right engine."Please can someone tell me how i would find this cutoff lever,Now im guessing…

Ok guys i have had some help and advice already and thought i had the problem licked, but alas no.The problem i am having is that i am only getting the display tabs which include Hardware, where i can set the resolution and other bits and pieces, when i right click the desktop go to settings/advanced 3d tab change any setting and back again, click apply and exit, then fire ms flight 2004 then i have the hardware and other tabs, i can change to what ever i like then go for a fly, but as soon as i exit, start up the sim later all the graphical settings have gone back to default, that is exept for the resolution which stays at the previous setting.To get the graphical settin…

I have been flying FS2004 for a long time with no problems. Then I went to fly yesterday and went to takeoff and my trim was very messed up. I tried to fix it but the trim was all the way down and even though I was pressing the up trim button, it wouldn't move. I finally pushed both the up trim button and clicked the mouse on the trim wheel and got it to move but then when I let go it went all the way back down to full down trim. I closed flight sim and started it again. When it starts, I can move my trim around fine. Then after I start the engine and apply throttle to taxi, the trim automatically goes to full down.Anyone know what is going on here? I didn't install any n…

Hello.I have noticed over the last few weeks that now and then my cockpit will start and ''flash'' now and then, there's no pattern,and no specific time it will start / stop, it lasts for a few seconds on some occasions,and on others it will last for about 15 seconds, I get fantastic steady frames of 25/30,(locked at 30) and nothing stutters or any issues at all apart from this intriguing Little problem.I haven't changed anything of any significance either,or added / removed anything either, I supply this info because some might think it's a plane/panel/gauge that was installed/removed.this is bugging me in the point of wondering what it could be,thanks for any info / sug…

Any help with the following problem would be much appreciated:I have been using FS2004 for a year now and have always had my view forward zoom set to 0.87 in the panel.cfg for every panel I have used. I have not experienced a problem until the last few days.When I start to accelerate down the runway my screen suddenly jumps and my cockpit zoom returns to 1.00.Thank you in anticipation.Kindest regardsAlan
