Ciao to all,please give me suggestions...I use FS9..and than click "close"....FS9 closes..but after few seconds a window opens telling that there is an error in FS9..So i sent the error report to MS that tells me I miss an update file called FS9Update...But this file I've got it since more than 1 year..What I did, before this problem, with FS9 was to take away the fs9.cfg file....start fs9...than quit it and reinstalled the "first" fs9.cfg I had before...I also added the FSUIPC.dll version 3.51 replacing the 3.5 I had installed in MODULES...It'a registered...Help please....!!!If I try to re-install the FS9 update I get a msg telling that I risk that other add-on or progra…

Would like to compile a list for myself of AFCAD designers that you trust completely to design, test, and modify a/p's, and who test them out before releasing. No need to name names of ones that don't. There are AFCADS that add ILS's, approaches, but don't do it correctly, so it doesn't update the a/p file and then ATC can't use it. Just want somes names of the really GOOD DESIGNERS!Thanks!Rick

It is just a small annoyance, but has anyone noticed that almost every FS Addon uses their own menu entry in FS? FS Passengers, Flight One, PMDG, Active Camera, FDC, EFB - just to name a few. And it makes my FS menu longer than the Nile.Why don't they just put everything in the "Modules" menu where it belongs? You can have submenus after all.Just a thought...Pat

My fs9 is starting up with the virtual cockpit, instead of main panel. How can I reset the original condition ? I tried deleting the fs9.cfg with no success. Is fact, it shows the panel very quickly and passes to virtual cockpit.Someone can help me ?Jose

In FS9 There is a functon and key assignment for Engine Start (Ctrl-E 1,2) and you can place your mouse over the starter switch to do Magneto check. But is there a Key assignment function for the Magentos? that I can assign to Go Flight or something?any ideas how i can simulate magneto check using hardware?Manny

It's Xmas time again and all my relatives are asking me what to get, and honestly I dont know!! I have a lot of very nice add-ons (check my sig) any reccomendations? I like GA, Medium or Heavy as long as its very realistic, I am a PMDG, LVD quality fan, not a jump in and go dude.

Flew a flight last night from PANC (Anchorage) to PAUN (Unalakleet). Had all the charts for the a/p. Weather was 2 1/2 in snow. ATC cleared me for the GPS 14 approach. I wanted, and went to ask for the LOC 14 approach. To my surprise, it was not an option! I went to the map view and saw the symbol for the localizer on the map. Pulled up the airport information, and it gave the localizer frequency and heading. Everything was there, but was not an option in the ATC menu.Why did this happen, and is there a way to include it in the ATC options for that airport?Thanks!Rick

I'm starting this new thread in hopes that someone at Carenado will read it and look at the darn screen shot. I tried to contact them directly but they are afraid to open the attached screenshot. I'm mearly tring to point out that someone lost a dimension in the model file. The port side flap is larger than the starboard side when viewed from behind. When the port flap extends it actually takes part of the wing with it. see screenshot. It's a minor point for such a nice airplane. Anyone, please help.... For some reason, I have lost Administrative Rights to add or change files, but only in FS9. When I start FS9, immediately on opening screen, a box comes up that says "You do not have permission to install new files on this computer. Please have an administrator log on to complete the scenery installation." This problem began when I uninstalled Ultimate Terrain v1.00 and installed the latest version 1.21. Instead of just upgrading to current version (through patches), I thought it better to start over with a fresh version. It installed with no problem and works fine. But everytime I start FS9, I must click OK to close the above message box. Then FS9…

I cant say I had high expectations for this small and unknown program but after hearing many positive comments took a chance.I also did not expect the drastic difference Atmosphere had on the overall look of the sim. I figured I would have to look hard for any changes but as soon as I opened a flight at noon, I instantly saw a positive change.It actually looked like a bright sunny day should. Everything was much brighter. Gone was that dull filtered sunlight but it wasnt washed out as if you simply turned up your brightness on your monitor.The morning and evening are equally as different.Not just the horizon as I expected but the entire area is bathed in color. Hello all,I used to have a little program I think was named End It All to shut down programs running in the background. I can't seem to find it now. Can someone help who might know where to look.
