In the last 8 months I've gone from: My Traffic 2004 ( with Military Acft, added).... No helos, My Traffic 2005 (with Military Acft, added...overloaded Honolulu Intl with 90% military acft, and now to the BEST of all of them, My Traffic 2006 with INCLUDES Military and small civil acft with the PERFECT mix. This is the one that I have been waiting for. It also has a "time machine" method that can call up acft from almost any PAST time period. I have not tried out this last part, but I sure am happy with what I've seen so far. It really surprised me to be on roll out from Honolulu Intl with approx 50 -60 AI in sight and have approx 32 FPS showing..... that was really nice…

Some time ago, I installed a demo of this programme -- I don't need it but can't work out how to uninstall it. There is a folder JEPPESON in the main C folder - but there is a menu item called Jeppeson in the main FS2004 menu. I assume that this is placed there by a DLL in the modules folder - but which one?Any help much appreciatedBarry

I goofed. I thought it would be great to clear out a lot of my excess aircraft from my aircraft folder and accidentally deleted the default b747-400 and b777 aircraft. Now several of my jets dont have jet sounds or panels. Is there a way to copy those aircraft off of the FS9 disks without installing the whole program over? I'm a knucklehead.Thanks

Is the UT USA payware program something that would greatly supercede the BlueSphere texture sets I've used since they came out?I'm a little confused about what UT actually does, because I've read the product features of the new BEV sets, and the developer of that product says that it can be used along with UT...I assume that UT replaces the same ground textures that BlueSphere does, or, do I have it all wrong?I just want to make sure of what UT will do for me, because the screen shots on their site look pretty convincing...Scott

I was thinking about futur releases of FS....Microsoft should work and negociate with Google on the implementation of google Earth technology in FS, this would be the dream of every virtual pilots !Is it really possible ? Is there any information about that somewhere ?

I was editing a sound.cfg for my Continental 737-800 with winglets yesterday. I tried adding some sounds, the correct turbine growl from an IAE A320 and adding the APU from another 737-800 sound to the soundset "The Real Deal" 737-800 with CFM56-7B. I loaded a saved flight with this plane after I edited the sound.cfg and recieved this message:Your computer has run out of available memory. Flight simulator will now exit. You may not have enough free space on your hard drive. Run Disk Cleanup to free up space, and then try running Flight Simulator again."I thought editing a cfg wouldn't be to difficult. In fact I was going to edit a 757 sound to add the APU and system so…

A "heads-up."This is not "news" as the event is a month old (11-5-05). But for those of you who missed it, the Norway Airports crew has produced an update.This update is designed to integrate the airports into the Norway Scenic terrain and Norway Roads. I would like to program one of the buttons on my MS Sidewinder FF joystick to engadge the trust reversers. I went into the Joystick assignment menu and set it up this way. However, When I press he button, the thrust reversers open a little and close really fast and sometimes not at all. Tried it with several different planes with the same result. I can not seem to figure out whats wrong. Does anyone know how to do this?Rob

Morning all! I found some really good payware Canary Islands VFR scenery a couple of years ago but never bought it. I can now only find it after doing a google search on all places but FSPLANET and its going for about $30. I have tried to buy it but the payment screen never appears and was wondering if anyone knew where else to get it?Thnaks allRichard

Interesting review and comments. I agree with it except I don't think it was that big a deal that it needeed a patch. CS did pretty well with this one after losing it over the payment fiasco. But hey, they were expecting a bunch of cash to pay bills and suddenly there wasn't any. It must have been a tense moment. But with the forums open, a great release of the C130, and an update of the 707 and 727 coming, they have sure made me come to think that maybe the company can become as good as their products. Is there a simple tool to manage aircraft loading?I downloaded an ATR72, and I can't fill up fuel tanks because load is very high and distributed in about ten stations. I reckon I could manage aircraft.cfg but I don't know exactly where to distribute load into the plane.Any clue?ThanksFrancesco

I don't know how to fix this. My cargo a/c are parking at terminals in many airports...mainly simflyer's kord.-I made sure the cargo a/c have "atc_parking_types=CARGO" in their aircraft.cfg-I've Checked the AFCAD file to make sure that parking is correctly assigned-I've made sure there are no duplicate AFCAD filesCan anyone help me out?

Hi all.In about 24 hours I will (finally) have high-speed internet!This after years of dial-up that usually flows, on a good day, at 33kbps. Generally lucky to get 19kbps.So, like all boys with a new toy, I'm gonna wanna play!For the reason above, I've never taken much notice of what I can download for FS - the largest file I've ever managed was about 6MB. And it wasn't pretty.Sooooo.....I'm up for some recommendations for (stable and proven) freeware that will make my FS experience that much better.But it has to be Freeware. Why?
