  • I made a paint for this today....  I love red/black or metallic and this has all of that hehe https://flightsim.to/file/94616/n6188y-for-carenado-c210-centurion-2024-only

Came across some interesting comments on FB: “Well, I got this plane and.... I like it.  I actually dislike the real thing, mostly due to being a mechanic on three P-210s and to say everything

For the early adopters (thank you) what about this new feature RealXperience and the dynamic weathered textures ?

Quote

RealXperice is a series of realistic instrument animations and behaviors such as attitude indicator movement, needle animations, low rpm cockpit vibrations, dynamic weathering changes, mosquitos accumulation, texture details, etc.

Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

The 'dynamic weathering' is already there on all 2024 Carenados. Slightly overdone but I really like it. Whatever else they've added I can't say I've noticed it yet.

I've given up on perfection in flight simulation long ago so will live with any defects since it is a great plane. Streaming makes it a snap.

Thanks for the paints guys.

So you haven't noticed this?

No. I'm so used to that in addons now I don't notice it anymore. But good that they've added it.

Is that it then?

This and more subtle changes, this is on their product page:

Carenado RealXperience features such as attitude indicator startup, shivering needles, panel shaking among others.

Yes, all very nice and I look forward to seeing them. I've noticed the 'panel shaking' on shutdown but I thought Carenado had that anyway on 2024 native releases along with the bug splats. I did KSDL to KPSP this morning and my windscreen was a mess!

I remember watching a Youtube channel of 3 crazy guys crossing the Atlantic to Europe in this plane it was some years ago. Kind of epic.

Along those same lines I don't observe any instrument cluster lighting (the posts are there you can see, but no light on the main panel gauges).

On mine, the panel lights turn on with the NAV light switch..

The LPV GP is hidden too far up like the F33.  It does eventually come down though when you establish on the GP.  Can you fix this on your end?

I have asked Carenado for a copy of the hsi_behavior file, lets see if they respond..  At least, there is a GS flag that turns off when the glideslope indicator activates, so you do get visual feedback..

Yeah the red lights turn on but isn't there instrument lighting?  I see there are lamp posts on the gauges.

The main problem I see is I get no flood lighting unless I press key board L.

This plane is actually more fun to fly with the original GNS530/430 stack.  Added benefit is that you can monitor the ILS glideslope on the NAV2 radio, when you have a GPS approach active..

Nice, but a few bugs to clear up in a patch hopefully.

Sounds are cutting out to near silence when I look at the back seats using my head tracker, and they come up really loud at first when switching to outside view before returning to a normal level a few seconds later.

When turning on the runway and taxiway lights, if you go outside and look at the aircraft from the front, they are duplicated as two orbs siting a few feet in front of the aircraft.

In beta .12, and the sim was quite stable. Looking good for a release hopefully now the simconnect issue seems resolved.

They still have plenty to work on in SU4!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

The analogue fuel flow gauge doesn't do anything before startup; battery on, mixture rich, fuel pump on, throttle full and the needle doesn't move...
