Where to get the "Bing" version of Google Maps Enhancement?

Although logical, you should clarify that PG off only affects regions with PG coverage. The sometimes visible lines due to colour differences of two adjacent regions will remain with this mod. Just in different places than default and usually less often.

Exactly

Bing Latest is pretty amazing and much better than Google Maps. It does feel like an MS2024 preview.

Thanks for the suggestions and the pictures. I assume those pictures were with the -15 brightness. Do you also have Photogrammetry OFF normally? Do you ever turn it on?

Dos anyone here have a comparison of the Bing (Latest) to the Apple Maps or ArcGIS maps to see if those are better color balanced?

You are welcome.

- Photogrammetry OFF

- Brightness -15

- High LOD (Disabled for test)

in my opinion I like Asobo better it's a bit more seamless and no extra process in the background. Around EDDK a found lots of clouds and smoke backed in the ground. I only wish that it was possible to use the brightness adjuster and colours from this app.no way I am going to fly without PG.

This is what is so good about this tool. Its location dependent. Certain areas are better default , and certain areas the mod is a game changer

My last flight from LIPZ to EDDF , comparing the default to new Bing maps  seem ok with default. Mod does color the textures nicely but not necessary especially if there are issues with baked in clouds and smoke . European data seems quite sharp and accurate

Canada , on the other hand has quite unsatisfactory default data. Missing and low res  satellite data in lots of places. With the mod and HD LOD , flying into CYYC is a sight to behold . Same with CYVR to CYXS flying over the Coast mountains. Generic FS5 textures seem to be 99% gone! Same with flights from CYWG to YUL.
Don't know why Canada ( even with the World Update ) was just so bad :(.

Which map are you using in Canada?

What exactly does the high lod option do? Does it make the mountain edges more defined ?

It just loads more tiles out further from your plane.  Usually, you only need it at altitude.  It is an optimization that ASOBO has baked in for the XBOX I understand or controlled by other addon tools.

Haven’t used the tool for a while, but when I have in the past I’ve usually gone back to default after seeing clouds cropping up a bit too often. Might give it a go again if there’s a new batch of textures with no / fewer clouds.

Thing about satellite imagery is it is updated daily as new images are constantly incoming.  Much processing needs to happen before the tiles go live however.  I assume that any updates would be by season / region.

Flying CYVR to CYYC the difference is just amazing. Everything is just so much better.

I have noticed no FPS hit.

On my system anyway, its almost like night and day. Wish I knew about this earlier.

MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.

Just tried the app and everything went well until landing. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Airport was ETNL

I know at my home Airport of PDX the default PG is horrible and there are melted buildings right beside RWY 10L.
Using the Newest Bing and PG off fixes this but using the newest Bing and leaving PG on the melted Building's re-appear.

Kinda conflicted on this addon because I'd rather leave PG on and not feeling like having to keep switching it on and off for different areas.
