Several things - you can't force OS from program to use some of the cores (you can only recommend, but it's up to OS if use it or not).
As a user, you can change it manfully - but I don't think it will bring the necessary result.

I really want to use and like this application, but I can't right now for the following reasons:

1) I like to have a realistic amount of traffic and when tweaking the settings for this, the fps takes a hit.

2) When FSHud injects FSLTL traffic, roughly only 1 in 5 ai planes have working nav/strobe lights.  When using FSLTL by itself, there are no issues with ai nav/strobe lights.

For me the latter is significant enough because while I enjoy being sequenced relative to other traffic, the immersion is broken if I can't see them while in flight.  I'm guessing the latter is specific to my system as I haven't seen anyone else with this issue.

Be that as it may, I'll continue to follow the development.  It's a great time to be in this hobby with all the different atc options coming out.

if you mean whether I also tried to change the core assignment = no I haven't, it's too tedious for me to change it every time

I have been impressed by FSHud and am happy with my purchase and I always load it up for every flight. . A few things I have minor but nagging issues with are :

My Boeing tca yoke assigned button works well to summon and dismiss the atc window, WHEN fshud can actually detect it. Of course the hardware is fine. The hat switch just isn't detected at all which I can live with but 75% of the time no controllers are detected at all even though they all work in sim. It's a real pain pressing 2 keys with my left hand round the back of my yoke in the dark to use the app. 

The interface imo needs 2 changes /tweaks. The information is all useful but I don't need all of it all the time. Could we have a tabbed implementation where only what we need is displayed? The window is HUGE. If I'm taxiing I like the directions but the window blocks 1/4 of screen and kills immersion. Tabs for basic taxi guidance, atc interaction and settings I'd like to see separately as in flight the massive window blocks the view. Also.. A dark mode would be great. Night or dawn /sunset flights mean the window is blinding. 

Even better a web interface like ASFS uses for example so we can use a tablet to direct atc keeping the main screen clear would be great. If I make a YouTube video for example I leave the interface off as its too intrusive. It works in the background which is great as long as you don't have to interact with it! 

I know vfr isn't included yet but... If you pick a destination without any plates fshud will usually give you good vectors for a visual approach. So it CAN do it. But you can't select a visual approach if you want one if weather is clear. You can't also select vor/dme/ndb either. Except you CAN if the strip ONLY has those. Fshud will ALWAYS assign you the rnav if it exists. Not much use in steam cockpits like my beloved fokker f28 for example! 

You can initiate all phases of flight : clearance /startup /pushback /taxi /departure /cruise level /direct to. But I don't see any way to initiate a descent manually other than change of cruise level? So far it has given me a DESCEND WHEN READY instruction about 10 or 20 miles before TOD which I can live with but I'd like the option to ask for this 50 miles out myself for example if I'm in a storm for example or want a gentle descent with a heavy load not just a fast one. 

I like the option to either move plane to parking or resume from where I am. I mostly use resume though as move to parking often puts my large jet in a tight spot at sms airports, inside buildings sometimes! It also always resets avionics on most planes. Not the pmdg birds but always any gtn/gns implementation. This means your detailed flight plan gets wiped unless you saved it first. It's a timing issue. When you input a plan yourself or ask fshud to do your routing the plan is shown on screen clearly. Once you select START FLIGHT it's gone forever. You can't check it again except with enroute directions. I'd like to see the whole plan in a separate tab at will during flight so I could also change it enroute. This means before I start flight I enter the plan in my GTN750xi. Then start FLIGHT and select move to assigned parking spot and WNH the gtn got booted! I lost my plan and now I can ask for clearance but no longer know what I'm asking clearance for lol. Can't put plan in gtn either. I've been copy pasting the plan into notepad but this is fiddly and immersion killing. I need to be able to see my original plan at the press of a button anytime during flight. 

Finally WHATEVER you do atc never tells you off. I can just ignore it when flying my vordme appr for example and it will adapt to wherever I am. I like this though in current situation. Except if I'm cleared to 16k cruise and std tran is 18k and my altimeter pressure setting is 1 or 2 out due to weather enroute changes. I level off at indicated 16k which is actually 15900ft and atc forgets I exist. Until I actually hit that exact altitude it won't talk to me again. Even if I request cruise change. I'd like to be able to request pressure at any time which would solve this! 

That's it for now. I always load it up with fstl every flight but I don't always use it. The bigger and better coded the airspace /airport the better it functions. Also great for tiny airports with no plates. 

Look forward to seeing this addon evolve, I'm not interested in any other atc addons after using it. Ai and pay per word voices can kiss my WNA.

Er... you can resize the window...? Not sure what the default size is but it certainly isn't huge on my screen.

I just plane hate the Flight1 system. It took me forever to change the password and now the FSHud installer doesn't recognize it. That FLight1 agent should be scrapped.

We have separated User Management system (from Flight1) - therefore, when you start FSHud on first time you should click on Activate.
If you already did that in past, click on forgot password (you can do that via email or Flight1 token).

Umm that just makes the text smaller and makes it harder to read but the clutter still remains. Actually doesn't it just resize the borders? That section at the bottom that looks blank is essential too you can't just move it off screen.

Another reason I love PF3 ATC, no UI on the screen and impact on performance is just about zero.

You have pin/unpin button on top-right corner which allows you to move the panel off simulator screen anywhere.

Yes I know! I use it the moment I start MSFS as it blocks me choosing a flight. Then I max it once in the sim but I still would like less info depending on the task in hand. Once in flight I only need atc chat option.

What resolution do you use? Because even on my screenshot I can read the text... Not sure how come FSHud is blocking so much in your case. Could you post a screenshot?
