  1. I also switched on day one and, yes, there were some issues at the time. But now we're looking at SU5 and DLSS 4.5. The views on the flight I took a few hours ago were nothing short of amazing!
  2. You deserve it! Any idea when this will show up on Simmarket?
  3. Sure, as long as it is an option that could be turned on and off.
  4. I use SayIntentions and have created a checklist for each plane that I fly. I can use them within the program or print them as a PDF.
  5. It works for me - I use it to record every landing in FS2024.
  6. I've been using Sky Dolly for the past few flights in MSFS 2024, and it has been working well for me.
  7. GAIST is a third-party addon. The author has done some great work, to be sure. However, as far as I know, if you don't install it, you will be using MSFS's default boats and ships.
  8. I'm not seeing that. If you are on Discord, you can get issues addressed quickly. The good news is that there are other options available.
  9. I just took the folder(s) out of my community folder.
  10. It’s worth it to me for the ease of updating.
  11. Do we know if it will be available within the Marketplace?
  12. At 75 and decades of flight summing, it’s hard to pull “whool” over my face. I still have BATC but SI meets my needs better. It’s as simple as that.
  13. I wasn't with SI from day one, as I started with BATC, as SI seemed to be only VFR at the beginning. However, after trying it, I switched over to SI and love all the additions they have made over time, such as the mobile app, checklists, missions, and other features. Does Brian promote too hard? I don't know - marketing is used to create awareness, and SI needs that. I don't get spam from SI. All I get is an occasional email about updates. But I cannot imagine flying without SI at this point.
  14. It's safe to be sure. I bought it on Day 1 and uninstalled MSFS2020 the same day and never looked back. Come on in - it's safe!
  15. My price is locked in, so I'm OK. But I just read how Disney is increasing prices at their parks - it's just a fact of life everywhere. SI anticipated that AI prices would have dropped more, and they didn't. There is still time to sign up and lock in the current rates. SI has added so much to the sim experience for me that a few extra bucks a month (skip a Starbucks maybe) would be worth it.
  16. Plus, it appears that you have to buy ChasePlane to get all the features.
  17. If you have other games, it makes it easier to swap than to go to all of the game files.
  18. It was the same way throughout the SU3 beta. I think that it can be changed in the nVidia app, but I just do it before each flight. I don't know why they can't fix this.
  19. I switched on day one, and we will know about the launch issues. But 2020 wasn't ready for release on day one either. I'm one who likes to have the latest, as I see that as the future. But if there is concern and you have the space, keep them both.
  20. Same here - I commented on the speed of upgrades and overall organization. But having everything in one place for upgrades makes it worth it to me.
  21. But you can turn off the static planes. The "low" setting seems to be for quality or variety, but it would only apply if you had them on? It isn't very clear.
  22. Did they mean a complete sim install or just the beta?
