All great infor, but where can I download? Is this part of the 800+ livery package?

I may be mistaken....this is the one I was thinking about (unless he painted the other as well.)

You'd have to see if you can find a post that shows any paints he's uploaded here (if in fact that paint we're referring to is his)

Had no problems with V1, or V2 but getting constant crash to desktop about 95% of loading up, this could of course be anything but had a pretty stable sim so far!  Anyone else suffering similar fate?

I had V1 and V2 installed with no problems. I kept the V1 folder and Installed the V2 folder. All seemed ok Added the V3 folder and now all I get is the default aircraft. Removed all 3 and shut off the computer. Added the V3 only MOD . Ran FS2020 and still only have the default aircraft. Set the Flight Model to Modern in the options. Still default only. What have I missed. Or, doing wrong.

Thank You.

Hi Rob,

Older liveries work but the model folder. model.cfg, and the info that goes on the .json file needs to be added manually.

BTW, If I add full power while on the runway the nose pitches up abruptly. Did not see this happen the last two versions.

Thanks again for the excellent mod.

It can't do that unless you have not adjusted trim for take off. Try keeping the trim down. There is an inherent prop wash on the elevator that is excessive on all Asobo aircraft. I'll have a look to see if I can eliminate more of it. But it is mainly your trim I think.

As per the pdf guide, please do not combine the three mods. The guide is there to assist you, not to bore you! The V3 mod is complete. Did you absolutely clear your community folder of everything except the V3 turbo? That would be a good start just in case there is something else interfering. If you still do not see any liveries then there has to be something wrong with your installation of MSFS. This mod was tested over and over again and the liveries showed every time.

In your simobjects\Airplanes\Asobo_Bonanza_G36 folder of the V3 mod you should see 9 texture folders and 9 model folders. Those folders are absolutely vital in order to see the liveries. Did you change any files that link to the default Bonanza? Did you previously install another Bonanza mod? Did you reboot your computer after you attempted to add the other V1 and V2 mods?

If the mod is properly installed you WILL initially only see the default Bonanza when you choose aircraft in "change aircraft". After you have chosen what looks like the default Bonanza then click "BACK" you will then have access to all the added liveries. They should appear as thumbnails/images in a long row at the bottom of the screen.

Not sure if this is related but take-off with flaps also causes some squirrely behaviour in a lot of the aircraft.

Hehe...love the remarks....1978 cracked me up!

I believe this is Mr. @Stoopy's lovely throw-back paint. 😉

Thanks for the kind words and the shout-out, @Steve Dra.

@DJJose, It's available in the Avsim library but I have updated it with the necessary model folder,  and that version isn't in the library yet check your PM.😉

EDIT: Ooops, actually that livery in Phantom's screenshot is not mine. It's a different old-school livery.

ok is it me or is V3 more resource hungry, I have 16GB RAM and never come close to an OOM before but it seems using V3 I was maxing out my 16GB during the initial loading?  I closed all non essential apps (to preserve memory) and this time it loaded in but came VERY close to 16GB usage during load up??

There is nothing in V3 compared with previous versions that would cause a crash. I must have loaded V3 and previous versions a hundred times on start up and no crashes. Can you please remove all mods in your community folder and start up FS2020. If you get no crashes, then add whatever mods you have one by one and start the sim. That's the only way to identify what is going wrong.

Thanks Robert see my post above about memory?  Is V3 using more RAM for some reason??

The total file size is a whopping...wait for it........3.1 megabytes. It is impossible that anything in V3 could slow your computer or frame rates. It does of course also load the default Bonanza which is much larger in file size, but it is one of the least resource hungry aircraft in the sim.

I don't release stuff without thoroughly checking every conceivable glitch. Unless there is some global problem with the way your community folder works then I doubt very much V3 could be slowing you down.

Hi,

I'll investigate . You might be right. Apologies.

Edit: It's there now. I apologise for the missing file. It is available now at the top of the file list.

Excellent!

Thank you for your wonderful plane mods and adding Dave's checklist!

Just tried for first time (V3) and got a CTD when trying to load an approach while on a FP heading to the IAF. First time have gotten a CTD ever. Maybe a bug in the G1000 mod.
