PS- If manually editing the layout.json file is a matter of replacing some words throughout the file, I can do that. [I am assuming for the changes its the layout.json for the G36 Turbo V3 in the Community folder that is to be tweaked]

That will be a lot of time-consuming work, unless it is a couple of entries to correct. The two available auto-layout-generators are real time savers and 100% accurate. I used both and they are flawless. One thing to note however is that if you have document folders or other files not related directly to the mods, it is best to temporarily remove them while you run the auto layout generator. This ensures that only the relevant mod files get into the layout file.

Forget everything I wrote Robert.😐

They are both there, I missed the Standard G36 while i was scanning the selection panel. Actually, I may not have, but when I searched 'Bonanza', they both showed up.

In case you  are wondering why i want to have both available ilo of just your superlative version - it gives me something to compare the turbo to, & thereby appreciate its refinement, plus there are some nice liveries about for the standard G36.

BTW, will those liveries work on the turbo??

Cheers

Thank you for the wonderful V3 Mod. I'm trying to find the David Murdoch Bonanza checklist mentioned. When I go to the gitmo page, it says:

David Murden has kindly sent a useful walkthrough/checklist for the Turbo Bonanza.

To access, please download the zip in  PDF form.

I must be missing something...I don't know which ZIP file this refers to and how do I download as a PDF?

Hi,

I'll investigate . You might be right. Apologies.

Edit: It's there now. I apologise for the missing file. It is available now at the top of the file list.

I'm not an expert on liveries and their placement in this sim. Others might step in to help. Sorry I can't be more informative.

Hi Rob,

Older liveries work but the model folder. model.cfg, and the info that goes on the .json file needs to be added manually.

BTW, If I add full power while on the runway the nose pitches up abruptly. Did not see this happen the last two versions.

Thanks again for the excellent mod.

I'm now in sim heaven thanks to MSFS 2024 and hundreds of add-ons!

Thanks to this mod the TBM is shelved.. While a great default aircraft it just doesn't match the "GA" feeling the Bonanza now has as a powerhouse long range, high altitude cruiser..

I just dropped my livery folder into the community folder and it shows up for use on the Turbo V3

1978 🙂

SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.

Folder says "Beechcraft Bonanza G36 Basic Sand". I thought I got it from flightsim.to, but unable to find it there now. I think they removed several liveries (see others missing too) after the latest fiasco with a MSFS update.

Hehe...love the remarks....1978 cracked me up!

I believe this is Mr. @Stoopy's lovely throw-back paint. 😉
